Gawd, I'm getting so sick of people trying to figure out who or what the furlings were.

Can't you leave it alone until it's established in an episode what they really look like and are capable of?

Admittedly, I've started skimming when Furlings get discussed, but sometimes, it does get old.

I wonder if the mods couldn't create a What If section? That way everyone who wonders what the ninth chevron does, where the Furlings are, or what McKay would look like drunk and singing I'm a little tea pot could hypothesize in one place while discussions based on ideas the show has presented stay in another area. It might also cut down on spoiler tensions.

Although I did read where one poster said that Furling tech is all around. Its the Gould motherships, pyramids, etc. That they were the first people the Gould went after and conquered.

Makes sense to me since the Asgard live in another galaxy and the Nox are in hiding. The Gould probably would have faced the Furlings first.

So thats what I'm going with anyway.

So the Furlings are the race that built the Gates? NOT!

And I thought it was established canon that the Goa'uld took their tech from the Ancients and other races, but I've NEVER heard the Furlings mentioned as one of those races. Want to know why? Because they weren't!

Just as the Goa'uld didn't get the tech of Nox, they didn't get any of the Furlings. You see any Furlings (other than me) lately????
