Did anyone else notice that the glyphs on the gate are hyroglyphics, and NOT Stargate symbols?

I know the Stargate pic they used - that was the same pic they used way back when for promoting the original movie...it might have been some kind of preview image, but they used it a lot - maybe they thought no one would notice. Actually it's a mixture of hieroglyphs and other stuff. But it's something that I can't stand either...*nitpick*

Yup, the DVD box art looks stupid.
BTW, there is a maximum of 1.98 Billion combinations for a 7 symbol address. For a 9 symbol address, there are 1.97 Trillion combinations. In order for anyone to list all 7 symbols addresses, it would take 64 entries per second for an entire year. Odds are if there is a gate for each combinations, then it took thousands of years to put them all in place.Comment
