My favourite is Sisko. I like Janeway because of the way she runs her ship and Picard is cool in a way as well, but Sisko had to face the greatest challenges with the Dominion War and he managed it formidable, so he's my definite winner.

Never could get to like Janeway or Archer and Kirk was....well...Kirk I guess

Sisko? you guys have to be kidding, right?

Kirk: it's hard to follow an original, even if he was only truly appreciated after the fact. He lived in different times and was often allowed to "shoot from the hip," and not be so worried about political correctness...unlike Picard, who was handicapped due to the PC the times and show took on.

Sisko: Had too much on his plate. He should have settled for being a Captain; not some religious emmisary/icon of an entirely different race.

Janeway: A complete waste of an athority figure, IMHO. She was made a captain just for the political correctness of the show to have a female captain.

I could barely ever get through an episode of Enterprise, so you can guess my thoughts on Archer...was that his name?

Oh, right. Runner up to Kirk is the captain whom Enterprise tried to rescue, who turned out to have died some time before in a cave somewhere.
