May 18-20, 2005

To help you prepare for next week's E3Expo, the world's premiere interactive entertainment trade event, we've updated our list of events and activities taking place at this year's show.

These "Happenings" are ordered chronologically under three sections -- ESA Events, Media Briefings and General Events. New exhibitor events added since the April 27 distribution are labeled "New!" Please note that the list was supplied by E3Expo exhibitors and is not inclusive of all events at the show. All events listed are subject to change without notice.

Happenings information will also be posted on www.e3expo.com later this week and available to media only in the Media Center, onsite in West Hall Room 502.

The other problem is, the cost. $275 for a pass to the exhibition floor purchased before May 15th, and $325 purchased after May 15th.

yes they can or atleast the people that own the gamestop near me are

It's a trade event, not really a convention. Conventiosn are something anybody can walk in off the street and attend. You'll have a ton of press there, no doubt, and people in the 'business,' but not fans in stargate tshirts

NOTE: This was just to let people know that you can't just walk in off the street iwth $20 to see RDA. Amazing how letting folks know this gets you a red dot from the original poster of the thread.

lol! If we can't get in to E3 then I sure hope they show it on TECH TV.(aka. The GAMING CHANNEL).......Because heck if I'm gonna play "The Alliance" with out some gaming review (you know from the experts )!!!!! But I can't wait! And the fact that RDA is gonna be there would only wanna make me go even more!

Which system? I used to alpha and beta test almost ALL the current and not so current online games. I know alot of the programers. :-)

I do so hope you get your pic of RDA, however, you really think he's going to be strolling around the place, alone? Good luck! Too bad they can't take you along, maybe in a suitcase????? Now that would get his attention. LOL

I was going to E3 this year, however my travel commitments meant i was elsewhere during the entire convention.

Usually, E3 is open to anyone in the gaming industry, and you can either buy your way in, or get an invite from one of the people hosting a booth there.

I usually get given a couple of passes, but as of yet, havent been able to attend E3 because of the huge costs involved with flying to the US from Australia for a "non business related trip"

JoWooD Productions today announced that the world-famous actor
Richard Dean Anderson will be appearing at Jowood's booth (South Hall
724) at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Richard Dean Anderson will be
appearing between 11:30am and 2:30pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2005.




Anderson appears as his character Jack O' Neill in the console and PC
versions of the game "Stargate SG-1: The Alliance," developed by
Perception. The game is based on one of the most successful science
fiction TV shows ever, Stargate SG-1, which is into its 8th season
and has now started production on season 9.

I will do my best to get some good pictures and maybe write a story if I get to talk to him or at least cover the game a bit for GW to post.

My wife has threatened to kill me if I don't get something signed to her by RDA. Hope I don't let her down
