Heres a cool little website that lets you plan trips across the US.
Colorado Springs to Las Vegas
It didn't let me put in Groom Lake (Area 51) as an end destinationbut I'm fairly certain that its within easy driving distance of Las Vegas... (but what do I know, I havn't even been to the US
)
neither have I AG.Originally Posted by Agent_Dark

Hey, great! A fic help thread.
I have a request, too. I need the name of some small town in the mountains between San Diego and Colorado Springs. I need the town to be in an area where it rains (I know that sounds strange, but there are mountain areas that get very little rain, so....)
Can anyone help?![]()
Gracie
A Cherokee elder sitting with his grandchildren told them,
"In every life there is a terrible fight – a fight between two wolves.
One is evil: he is fear, anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity,
resentment, and deceit. The other is good: joy, serenity, humility,
confidence, generosity, truth, gentleness, and compassion."
A child asked, "Grandfather, which wolf will win?"
The elder looked the child in the eye. "The one you feed."
mhm, there's a lot of mountains and a couple of deserts between san diego and colorado
i don't know any off the top of my head, but maybe in the sierra nevadas (i think that's south enough in california)
or maybe in utah
anyone live in the south west?
Perhaps the mods could make this a sticky...so it doesn't get lost in other pages
Just a suggrestion guys....^_^
I wouldn't worry. Fanfic is a slow-moving forum area.Originally Posted by SilverRider

Hey, it's 13 hours from my college in Missouri to my home in MN, and my family usually drives the one-way trip in 2 days; maybe 3 if we stop over a day in between. Not so hardOriginally Posted by SilverRider
. To fit that time-frame you talked about, I mean; driving 7 hours a day in the car with my parents (much as I love them) is indeed hard

In what season do they catch the NID member off world?
which nid member?Originally Posted by SilverRider
season 2 and touchstone is where the first 4 rogues get trapped off world and we find out that the nid has been using the second gate
season 3 is shades of gray, when jack goes undercover
season 5 is Sentinel, where graves and Kershaw (two of the captured rogues) go back to a planet to fix what they broke
season 6 is smoke and mirrors, where they use a stolen imager from Foothold to frame jack for murder
Concerning a small, rainy mountain town between San Diego and Colorado Springs, check out the link below. Travel from or to San Diego through the Sangre de Cristo mountains of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico is a beautiful way to go. Mapquest.com says so. Anyway, see if the link helps.

If anyone has questions about Colorado geography and stuff for a fic, I'd be more than happy to help out. Just PM me if that is needed.
