Its getting old. The forested worlds only. Cant the wraith have missed one.

I see you really havent understood Rising Part 1.
The Wraith immediately attack and destroy ANY civilization that seems capable of advanced technology. This makes thier later cullings easier if their prey cannot fight back with superior technology. The Wraith always scout for the advanced prey so that they can be disabled first.
Therefore, we will not be seeing advanced civilization in season 2. (Most likely) Unless they're EXTREMELY advanced and can cloak their cities like the Nox.
However, we will be seeing complex civilizations and plenty of "genii"/"manarian"/"athosian" like societies.
Or they could've buried their gate before the Wraith launched their first attacks on The Ancients.
But cant one civilization be advanced. It might liven the season up a bit. All weve seen is wooded places, and a uninhabited sand planet.Originally Posted by Calicto
i sure hope there will be another advanced civilization.. it would get extremely boring just having the atlantis expedition and the wraith being the only technologically (sp?) advanced people... the genii aren't all that advanced... i would really like to see a world have has a shield (iris) like the one in atlantis that is very advanced and have a way to hide it from the wraith...
This series wont last that long without more races... it will get too boring...

The Wraith have ships. They might have travelled all over the galaxy when 95% of them were asleep (I bet 10-20 Wraith could fly a hive ship, do scans, then leave)Originally Posted by aAnubiSs
The Wraith hyperdrive isn't too advanced from what we've seen, and 2000ly in diameter it isn't that hard to miss a few solar systems. Besides the Wraith might not bother themselves unless there's a gate.
I sincerely doubt it. All things considered they've done relatively little outside of atlantis. I mean it really hasn't been as much about exploration yet as it is about becoming settled. How much travelling will depend on what happens with the wraith. The more wraith left after the deffense of Atlantis the less we'll see of other societies. The next problem is going to be that SGA hasn't really met a tremendously co-operative alien race yet. Part of this has been as a result of the wraith. Another part has been a way to insert conflict without having to use the light blue make up every week. Will we see more cultures? Probably. Will they be any more advanced than something comparable to WWII Earth? Doubtful.

even though i know that it will NEVER happen.... i would like to see a planet of furlings that came through the gate with the ancients into the pegasus and have been stranded with no way back into the milky way.. it would be awesome if these furlings have found a way to hide life signs from the wraiths scensors and have been hiding ever since.. it would be interesting because the furlings haven't been seen in SG1 and after 8 seasons i'm starting to think that we'll never see them in the milky way.. it would be an interesting way to introduce the furlings into the stargate universe.... just my brain storming... feel free to bash the idea if you want to.....![]()

The furlings should be in the Atlantis season two.
Well we apparently will get insight on Ronan's civilization and we will get some insight into the race that created the nanovirus.
Yeah, Boyzzz! That would be beautiful if we FINALLY saw them. It might be the name, but I picture them as gray furbees. I've never wanted to be more wrong....Originally Posted by blueguy w/thehand

So, what special powers would they have? You don't like the cheese whiz idea. Perhaps Bologna feet!
