Hee... verrrry true!!

Thanks! That would be great. Sometimes I get stuck and the words don't flow like they should... I'll type something and then look back and think 'uck, that sounds awful!' I've got a friend visiting this weekend so no sure how much time I'll have for writing... but once she's gone I'll be back at it

lol, Sam is so lucky there. And awww, I love that... when he said he thought heaven would be a little more upscale and she said "I don't think this is heaven" I was like "what???" It would be for me! There's a scene just before Teal'c runs out of the little hut and tells them that Lya was killed where you can see Sam and Daniel sitting and talking all the way in the background. I made a screencap of it, let's see if I can find it... *rummages* Ah! Found it:

Why are Sam and Daniel so obvious and there are other people out there that ship them with someone else? They make it obvious that there in love. Ya know just to see how they manage to do it, I read and S/J fic, it was crap! Everything that they said was just a peice of crap, Daniel was an ass (Which will never happen) Jack was doing super-technobable which Sam could only just understand (Which will never happen 'cause Sam's A LOT more clever than Jack) Jack was all open with his emotions and talking about the pain he went through loosing Charlie and Sara (Also not gonna happen since Jack is a very closed up person!) Really it's not very realistic atleast S/D fics are plausable!

Anyway in order to have friends you have to sacrafice somethin' even if it is a few days of fanfic writin'. Oh yeah that damn problem of wrong words, that's the worst thing about writing. Ugh I remeber I was almost finished with a fic I wrote, and the last line when Sam says somethin' that was REALLY cute to Daniel just didn't flow, so I had to keep writing it differently for two hours before it fit!

I just-don't-get-it! Yep, I've read quite a few of those too... the "Daniel is a jerk" thing really annoys me, it's like the author is projecting their Daniel hate into the story, especially if they have Sam and Jack treat him harshly. I did read a pretty nice fic by a S/J shipper. The ship wasn't really in-your-face though and it had some nice S/D friendship at least. Another time I read a Cam/Vala fic where they made Daniel disappear or something like that, and they snuck a S/J wedding in at the end! They didn't even list S/J as one of the pairings. I asked the author about that and he argued with me... it was so ridiculous. Anyway, LOL I don't think I could ever picture Jack doing technobabble! The thing closest to that was in the beginning of Singularity when he was talking about the black hole.

To me S/D have such an easy relationship, it's just so easy to write it. Ya know? It just comes naturally for me.

Ah, so true. I've also got a new (well, new-ish) puppy and she keeps me very busy. My times for fanfic writing are few and far between. But when she's preoccupied (in a good way, lol) I have a good bit of time. Oh I know, it's so annoying! Usually when I have that problem I'll leave it for a while, do something else and come back to it another time. If that doesn't help I'll ask people for advice lol.

Anyhoo Yeah tje whole Daniel's a jerk thing really gets to me. Daniel's the sweetest guy ever! I wish that the authors would get over the fact that there's SD out there, we get over the fact there's SJ out there and we dont put Jack in a bad light. Well sometimes we do but not as often as they do! BTW while we're on the subject of Fanfiction I sent one to your website, now I know that's anti-Jack but it fit the story. I could have put Jonas Hanson as the evil fianceé but it fit better with Jack. And sorry if there is any errors in grammar or spelling, english is not my first language so it is hard.

Ah yes, that is quite annoying! I really hate it when authors don't put the other ships in at either the summary or the AN. I read a Weir/Sheppsrd fic, and the ass-whole writter didn't say that it would contain SJ! Well I guess you can't have everything.

Yes I know, SD is an 'easy ship', meaning that they just fit so words flow when writting.

Ah a new-ish puppy, they are hard. To much energy I think. But at least when she is doing her own thing you can write and come to the forum!

Those pictures that you posted capture great SD moments from very start. I have a lot of SD pics, I'll dig them out and post them on the forum.

I remember when that "Jump the Shark" site was around and a lot of S/J shippers were complaining about Daniel coming back in season 7. Some of them even said he took time away from S/J. Oh, really? Cool! When did you send it? I was checking my mailbox (have to wade through so many emails of spammers trying to join my website's message board... yuk ) and I didn't see it. If you just sent it I'll wait a little while. If not, could you try resending it? There might be something up with my mailbox for the site, so if it doesn't work again I'll give you another email addy to send it to. I'm anxious to read it! Aw, that's no problem. You're right! She's 8 months old. I wanted to get a dog that's a little older, but I fell in love with her when I first saw her. She has her quiet moments, but she always wants to be doing things with me. Like just before I was on the sofa and she's lying in my lap chewing her bone. If I try to get up she's like "Hey where are you going? Don't you want to be with me? " lol

Yes I know about new puppys, I brought home a stray puppy when I was a child. I fell in love with his adorable attitude and face.

Yes, unfortunatly I have had to bare the brunt of such writers. When I was writing for a website called Archaephicasist Darter (As you can tell an SD site) some SJers left reveiws on one of my fics with a main veiw of when Daniel came back. They said things like 'This is a stupid fic, Daniel should have stayed dead, he ruined Sam and Jack's fun! I find it disgusting how you could pair Sam and Daniel together...' I think you know the rest.

I shall send fic again, but I can't just yet as my laptop is in for repair, so I have to use my phone. That explains why I'm not doing the SD story we do, but I shall have it back tommorow night. Oh yes I forgot to say I was back in England *Hits myself in the back of the head* Yes I am back to school I teach in instead of looking for history in the sands of Egypt. Damn.

Yes I weirdly enough remeber all the SD moments in SG-1. They are easy to see, I think that is why SJers don't like Daniel, since Sam and Daniel make it obvious. They feel threatend by their obvious love.

What dog is it? And the name? The stray I took home when I was child was a German Shepherd. He was called Másak. He was good dog, nobody tried to mess with us for fear Másak would hurt them.

Oh that's terrible I've always said, "Ship and let ship." I don't go seeking S/J or D/V fics just to flame the authors. I just don't read them. I once posted a Cam/Vala fic that had some S/D ship as well, and someone who was a C/V shipper but also S/J flamed me. I also have a friend who made S/D music videos and had them on youtube. This person left the same nasty review on all of her videos. He said "This pairing has never and will never exist! Jack should shoot you." I know not all shippers are like this, but seems the worst ones are the loudest. But anyway I love the name of that website, "Archaephicasist Darter." Is the site still around?

Ok no problem, whatever works best. I know how you feel. I'm typing on my notebook at the moment. After I moved back home I didn't get my computer back at first. I have it back now, but it's going to take some time to find room to set it up again lol. It's a bit hard to type on this as it's so small. I'll probably get back into my fic-writing groove once I'm back on the computer. Oh you teach? That's so cool I've thought about teaching. I was a teaching assistant back when I was in school. I may see if I can teach again.

I feel the same way. And none of the S/D moments really feel awkward at all to me either.

My dog's name is Abby. She's a hound mix. She's half Treeing Walker Coonhound, and also some Beagle and Greyhound. Just a real hound dog who howls and hunts. She's very sweet too, loves to cuddle with me. Aw, Másak sounded like such a good dog.

I did a Sparky fic and in the AN I warned readers it would have SD in it, but still I got flames, so I sympathize with writers who have to deal with flames. That friend of yours, what was their user name, I think I know who it is. Normally on Youtube with people who leave comments like that I basicly tell them to 'piss off' but in a more saphisticated way, I think I should do that on FF.net.

Yes I agree, most shippers leave ships they don't like alone, like I leave SJ or JD alone because I don't agree with them, but others go to ships they don't like so they can leave flames.

Yes on a SG-1 fanfiction site I posted a CV fic and also warned about SD moments, what do I get 'Sam and Javk are supreme and they should hunt you down and beat you and Daniel to death!' it hirts when some people do that, I agree with you the worst are the loudest.

Unfortunatly the site was shut down two or three years ago. Shame not only was the name pure genius but there was many good authors there.

Ah the dreaded set up the computer! I bet you want someone like Sam to magicly appear and do it for you. Yes it's allways easier to write fics on a computer I think.

Yes I teach History, Polotics and French (Even though my french sounds weird because of my Czech accent). Teaching is good when your a fun teacher, because pupils like you and don't prank you or be too naughty! I would reccomend it, I have fun with my pupils. What would you teach if you did?

Yes SD moments never feel awkward, for SD and audiance. Have you seen Amanda and Michael fooling around on set? Their funny, like when Daniel appears from the croud and Jack hugs him and when Sam does they hug but then Michael dips Amanda they do a 'actor snog' oh I laughed so hard I was crying! They've done loads of scenes like that.

Abby, what a pretty name for a dog that sounds beautiful! Hunts is good depending what she hunts, howls not so good at 03:00! Ah a dog that cuddles, Másak cuddled, dogs are cute when they do that. But it's bad when they give you puppy eyes and you have to bade to their will!

Thanks, it really made me happy to know I was doing a good thing. I still keep in touch with the lady from the rescue group. When I first told her my husband and I were separating, she said that if I can't keep Abby she could find another home for her. I said "No way!!" lol I love this dog too much to give her up!

That's really sad, I don't understand how readers can flame you for that if you included it in the AN. I guess they don't care. And they can be such hypocrites, to flame someone who included the pairing in the AN but then say they don't have to include their pairing in the AN for their fic because it's "canon." Someone said this to me once and he kept arguing with me and showing me all the "proof" of S/J in most of the episodes. In the end I just stopped talking to them. There's no point with some people because to them, they're always right and you're wrong. I believe that girl's username on YouTube was "calleaveda."

The girl who didn't mention her pairings but had S/J and D/V in her fic asked me to read it and tell her what I think. I told her she wrote it well but I wish she told me about the pairings. I try to be polite and I have met some nice polite shippers, but there always have to be those who need to make a lot of noise. Oh wow that's so interesting! When I was a teaching assistant I did Geology. The students were very good, they didn't give me any problems. There was one guy who needed help a lot, but he was very smart and would pick it up quickly. I think I would teach Geology again. I have my degrees in that and I love doing field trips. So you're Czech? My great-grandmother was originally from Prague She was an amazing woman, sadly she died when I was only 4. But I have very nice memories of her.

That moment sounds so familiar, was it from one of the DVDs? I need to watch it again! LOL I love the moments like that! I remember some behind the scenes moments where Amanda and Michael look like they are about to kiss. There was a cute one where they were in someone's trailer, it was Amanda, Michael and Chris sitting on a sofa together. At one point Michael took Amanda's hand and kissed it.

Aw thank you! Luckily she is sound asleep by that time. She starts falling asleep by 7 or 8pm. But she can get a bit loud during the day whenever she sees a rabbit. She is such a sweet girl and has made some dog friends already! Hey I have a pic of her that I'll share. Since it's off-topic I'll just put a link:

Yes feild trips, they ask me to help in the geography ones at my school, they are fun, students enjoy them. Geology, interesting, I have a personal intrest in the subject, good choice. Yes one of pupils in Year 8 class needs a bit of help but when she gets it it's stuck in her head, I like her she wants to be Archaeologist so I help her out, she asks me about digs I go on during holidays. Oh but there is a student in my Year 7 French class who I caught writing fanfiction, when I looked over her shoulder I saw she was writing SD fic so I didn't mention it. Biased I know but who cares the kid's good at french anyway! Yes I am Czech all the way from Olomouc. Sorry to hear about your great-grandmother, Prague yes I went there as a child nice place. People can try to destroy all physical evidence of something but they can never destory anothers memorys, that is something my dad used to say, he was a wise man.

My husband was a very good actor, made me believe he was a and after we were married he ended up being a I also learned he had been married once before and that marriage had the same trouble as ours. It's so complicated but I'm glad to be away from him. We didn't have any children together which I'm glad for, I can imagine how hard it would be for them. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

That S/Jer argued with me that he didn't have to put S/J in the AN because they're canon and because "S/J IS the show." I couldn't believe it but I just decided I can't talk to anyone like that. Finally in the end he was polite and said we would agree to disagree. But it amazes me sometimes how some people feel they really need to defend their ship. As if we S/Ders are really that threatening?

Good for you for doing that! I had to give that flamer a piece of my mind too, the one who left the flaming review on my C/V and S/D fic. Their screen name was very appropriate for them I think, it still makes me laugh.

I've always enjoyed field trips from when I was in school. Thanks! I've loved it from a very young age (well, first I wanted to be a teacher, then an art teacher, then do cartoon work, then archaeology and finally geology). I loved looking at all the different rocks in the museums. Fanfic eh? And it's SD? I'm glad you didn't say anything Aw that's so cool. I've seen travel programs about Prague, looks like a nice place. I think I read that David Nykl aka Zelenka was originally from Prague. I thought "wow just like Great-Grandma!" I totally agree with that and your dad really sounds like a wise man.

My last dog was a beagle and she was very possessive of food. Sometimes she would "guard" the oven and if you went near it she would growl at you. Abby is part beagle but she doesn't do that. She just "inspects" the table at first and then she leaves us alone to eat in peace.

He picked people to play each of the characters, then he would stand behind them and say their lines. Part of it went like this:

Yeah unfortunatly for some people they believe their pertner is what they always wanted, but turns out to be what they don't want. Yeas I agree, good thing there was no children, trust me it's hard on them. My brother and I grew up after that and we 3 and 6.

I don't know why people feel need to defend their ships, maybe they feel insucure, like ship isn't the true ship, but they delude themselves into thinking that they are. Maybe they're scared that SD will one day be the main big slap bang ship of SG-1.
