Wonderful interview  Great job Chad and David. I really liked the variety of questions and Michael was really thoughtful and funny in return 
my only gripe would be next time leave the camera on the tripod.. the constant movement of the camera sometimes was extremely distracting

If I were going to be snarky, I'd say that the camera movement is simply to prepare us for the shooting style of Universe...

didn't david say in the podcast that his tripod was broken ??? thus he had to hold the camera

I'm looking forward to Desparate Escapes on Lifetime! I hope The Eastmans gets picked up by CBS cause I really wanna see that!

The tripod was indeed broken, so I had no choice but to hold the camera. While I was at it I figured I'd try a trick or two. Certainly holds your attention better, doesn't it? 
As I recall, Joe Flanigan's was much more steady.

He seems like a great guy and down to earth!
And I imagine his wife has a lot to do with keeping him grounded.
If you read her tweets on Twitter, she's very, uh, "earthy."

Nice interview. Michael is very viewable and gracious and funny. Although the guy with the camera... I don't interview anyone, but I don't think it's a good idea to put words into the interviewee's mouth when they're answering. No offense intended, just saying...

I loved the beginning of the interview. "Cassa de Shanks" was very clever. Great job, David and Chad. I think Chad's got it down for his interviewing technique. He seems to be doing a great job at putting the interviewee- Sir Shanks - at ease for the interview. Very important.
