now this book is more like independence day, the thing that stargate would have been. It deals with our stupidity and dannys attempts to redeem himself. This one also had more of the modern sg1 stuff in. A nice ancient weapons system around the globe and the discovery of more gate addresses.

It also introduces a new alien species and it really good for action and the mistreatment towards the abydans by the humans, but i did enjoy reading about them trying to adapt to the simpler life!
