Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
Yeah, uh, I’m from Missouri (lived here my whole life) and I say “Missouri” and most of the people from “Missouri” say “Missouri”. I’ve lived in some really backwoods places and people usually say “Missouri” not “Missourah”. This is true with people from big cities too. On training videos for state employees they say “Missouri” as well as state hotlines. Usually when I hear someone way “Missourah” they from out of the state.
Otherwise, great interview can’t wait to see more Michael and re-runs of Enterprise.

Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
That was a fun interview.
I got to see Conner at a Star Trek convention several years ago. He is geniuely a very warm and nice guy. So much so that many fans commented on it to him during his talk!
I had to laugh with the Oregon part. I am originally from the same part of Washington state that Conner is and when I moved here, people would laugh and ask me to say Oregon just to hear me say it because it was so different then how they say it here in the Midwest.
I hope we get to see more of Michael and Conner in the future!!

He appeared at a Creation Convention for Star Trek in Minneapolis a few years ago, I think when Enterprise was in season 2 maybe season 3. He is definitly worth listening to at a Con, just a wonderful, warm and entertaining person.

As far as I know, not a Stargate Convention. About the time he was on Stargate he also became a Dad so he may have cut back on his schedule and then again, maybe no one has asked.
He would be great to ask to come to Chicago. I haven't seen any of the Stargate actors at a convention but I have seen many of the Star Trek actors and he was by far my most favorite one to listen to and watch. Very warm and geniune on stage.

I saw Connor at the Sci-fi Grand Slam (a Creation event) in 2004 (maybe 2003) in Pasadena. Connor and the 2 other officers from Entreprise were billed as the "Boys from Entreprise". They were a blast on stage.
Had initially gone because it was going to be the first time MS/AT were appearing at a convention for SG1.

Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
Connor is scheduled to appear at a few Creation conventions this year, but, aside from Grand Slam, they're all "Star Trek" themed conventions. And the only Stargate-related person appearing at Grand Slam is Jessica Steen (Weir in SG-1's Lost City).

Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
Connor's totally one of the nicest people I've ever met. If you have the chance to see him at a Con, I'd recommend it.
I read the interview again and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time.

I'm not even totally finished, and all I can say is "wow".
Watching TV, sometimes it gets so the character is all you see from an actor. And the few interviews I've seen with some actors don't seem to give a real feel for the person portraying the character, leaving you with only the character to base opinions of. EIther the interviewers were bad, or the interviewees, or even possibly both. (And no, I'm not going to name the few interviews I've seen.)
However, I come out really seeing alot of what Mr. Trinneer puts into his character of Michael.. the whole mindset of how one treats their enemies and the legacy we leave behind in our everyday actions. I think this is a wonderful representation of Mr. Trinneer as a person, and not the character of 'Michael' or 'Trip'.
Plus, this is the first quiet time I've had in about two weeks (cranky baby syndrome mixed with a nice helping of 'she's your problem' hubby). So all of this could be nonsense. Or some of it. Who knows? But bravo anyway.

Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
I saw him at the Star Trek convention in Vegas last August - he was great!
Oh, and he is 1000 times better looking in person, I passed him in a hallway so I was like 3 feet away from him.

Re: INTERVIEW: Connor Trinneer (Michael)
What an excellent interview!!
It is really cool that he was so open and candid about what he thought he might do if in the position of the SGA team and had a *weapon* of that sort.
I am not sure how I would deal with knowing I could potentionally wipe out a race of living beings or alter them beyond what they were.
Its definitely a good point to ponder and discuss on .......
