tim hortons are canadian i believe

we have Krispy Kremes here and there (the closest one is 20 miles away)...i don't get the hype. they're just expensive and sweet

dimple donuts - which bought out the local dunkin donuts

a few daylight donuts - especially out in western kansas.

they're pretty good. our local daylight went out of business and we have yet to get a really good donut shop in town

I remember when Rove Live! (tv show, similiar to Letterman I suppose) sent one of their viewers over to New York and she wore this suit that was covered in Donut King donuts and she had to get the New Yorkers to eat the Aussie Donut King donuts off her donut suit. Ah the good times. Pity Rove Live is kinda crap these days...

KK never made it big in Canada, they can't compete with Tim Horton's. I've tried the KK but never liked them, they are way too sweet.

Yea, Tim Horton's donuts are cakier or breadier as you call it not as sweet.

When I move to the city (*bounces* too soon!) I will go exploring and see if I can find any small donut stores. I will not go donutless just because we don't have and of those donut chains!

Oh, the other donut I tried was blueberry jelly. Hehe! My sister got the joke.

The last time I had a KK donut I could taste the oil it was cooked in. I'm not a major fan of donuts anyway, though our local grocery store chain (go Ukrop's!) has some mighty tasty Bavarian Cremes. I do like KK glazed donuts. They are best bought (and eaten!) when the "hot donuts" sign is still on.

OT: I love it when Sam uses a donut to describe wormhole theory.
