Re: Interview: DAMIAN KINDLER
Mmmh, someone admitted having watched an episode that hadn't aired at his place yet...
I liked the interview. It was more of an informal (yet informative) conversation than a question-answer session. The mp3 sound quality wasn't very good this time with all the crackling. At first I thought my cpu had reached its processing limits because that would sound exactly like this.
Where did the interview take place? I heard a leather chair several times, and an energetic "Woooooh!" (around 31:38 min) in the background (who was that? I'm the only person I know to do random wooooh's. )
The producer ideas for Sancuary sound good but I doubt that it'll work as smooth as they're picturing. Certainly, it will appeal to the real geek/afficiniado crowd, and the interactive thing sounds like fun (although I still don't know how that will work). But at the same time, it generally takes at least two full seasons of TV watching for me until I'm willing to pay with my money (DVD) and time (forum) for a show. And a show needs to be really good also.
We'll see.

Sanctuary sounds like a cross between X-Files and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Here's hoping it matches up to those standards of quality.

I'm working at Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. I'd be negligent if I didn't know what was going to happen.

Our respective houses. You may have heard me lean back and may have heard one of Damian's kids.

Still, I prefer the overall sound quality as opposed to a telephone quality. With this Internet utility it sounds like we're sittinig in the same room. Literally.

Count me in the group who thought you were in the same room (just with a cheap tape recorder, maybe in DK's office).

I'm not disputing that the pops are an annoyance, but overall I think in the long-run it's worth it. Who knows, maybe I'll figure out a way to get rid of them

And then you have me whose audio seems to go out every time I hibernate my laptop. I forgot I needed to reboot and thought the file wasn't loaded right!
Thanks for the interview!

Re: INTERVIEW: Damian Kindler (Writer/Producer)
Something tells me I'm a bit late here...I just found this interview a few weeks ago and I have to say that I found myself even more impressed with Damian after I heard it. I agree with the others--no offense, but the sound quality is horrific--but then again, at least it's comprehensible. Belated thanks to the people who arranged the interview!
