Re: INTERVIEW: Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama)
Good to see the interview dealing with the weighty issues...
Well, I'm glad that Jamie's got such a good grasp of the character and he doesn't balk at doing the hard stuff.
Thank you, Skydiver... I'm assuming you did the interview.

Re: INTERVIEW: Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama)
thanks easter lily, yes, i did the interview. adn yes, we did discuss the weighty issues.
he's such a nice guy. he was supposed to be at the con friday i believe, then taping ran over, so he flew out first thing sat am (and from van to maryland, it pretty much takes all day to get there)
got in at 5ish, hit the groudn running with his panel/interviews/pics
than had another panel sunday and i got to talk to him about 2 hours before he had to take the plane back to van to go back to work
it was a very hectic weekend, but he had such a great attitude for someone that had to be exhausted

Thanks for the interview!
Liked the comment where Jamie said that if he could do anything it would have Lee screw up and end up costing people thier lives- I agree that would be a great direction for the character if that were to happen.

very much so
his one concern, as a 'newbie' gift, they gave him a 'gene roddenbunny' a stuffed bunny, and he was like 'i'll be trampled once i take this home, with three girls you have to have three of everything'

Re: INTERVIEW: Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama)
Awesome interview! He's obviously put a lot of thought into his character - and it helps us appreciate BSG (and Lee) better since we don't see all that on screen (e.g. the discussion on gaining wait because of depression).
Thanks Skydiver . Great job.

Re: INTERVIEW: Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama)
Very nice interview. Something I caught at the end was when he was discussing where Lee might go after Jamie hinted at the destruction of pegasus and not being a Commander anymore, that maybe Lee would join the marines and start over again.

thank you
he does put a lot of thought into lee. i could tell it as he talked, that during the taping season, Lee is 'real' and he thinks and rationalizes what that character does and how it fits into the whole story

Re: INTERVIEW: Jamie Bamber (Lee Adama)
@Legionnaire
In the latest episode, Lee is still wearing the Commander pips, so I would assume that he is still of the rank of Commander.
I've got all the episodes and I rather sadly checked his pips from the "Captains Hand" episode. You can clearly see in this episode, his 2 ranks, the one of Major and one of Commander.
The rank of Major has black lines running across his pips while the Commander pip has a largish dot in the middle.
Watch the latest episode (Collaborators) and you'll notice this same largish dot. Remember it has been 3 days since the second Exodus as well so a little amount of time has passed.
The only question is how does he fit in, in the command structure of the Galactica. Which if they develop it, will be interesting.
