AWESOME DOOD! thats a oniel class ship alot of us thought it might have been a daniel jackson but wow I wonder how many they going to have here hope its not just 1 really awesome I really hope too we kill at least 1 of them to not make it look like we have absolutly no hope

This would probably the first time the Asgard got DIRECTLY involved in a space battle that involved Earth and the Jaffa.

I can't wait. Seeing the last pic, looks pretty cool. The Asgard trying to pummle the Ori. Hahaha

They say that we loose an ally, and then gain an ally later on. Who is this ally we're loosing? Thor? Would he suicide run and collide 1 of the Ori ships to save SG-1 aboard one of the two BC-304s?

its impossible to lose the asgard because i saw the prewview in slow motion and i know some spoilers but only tellin if people want to kno lol. Um it looks like the asgard shields are better than that of the ori because those big lasers that the ori have go through the hatak vessels and destroy it in one or 2 shots but the earth ones it takes more maybe just like the prometheus i dont know but i know the asgard it doesnt go through it blocks it and it takes many hits and its just one asgard ship imagine so one asgard ship can destroy maybe 2 ori ships because remember we decrease the shields to with the hatak vessels and ours

I was wondering how the Supergate worked when activated. I am also positive that I saw 2 BC-304s, so it doesn't look like the Odyssey was renamed. Yay!

Im not sure if they renamed the Odyssey it might be just 1 of the 304's is the odyssey and the other is the russian one we had to give them.

Anyone care to speculate as to what those gate shaped rings in the middle of the Ori ships are? I doubt they are engines, maybe energy sources??

I've been thinking about this, those ships don't look all that big and are supposedly carrying 10,000 troops? I think they are some sort of matter containment field similar to what the Wraith darts have on SGA. Once they get to a planet they can beam deploy all the troops it carries at once.

I agree - the preview for next week's episode is kick-a**. However, I think there's one discrepency:

The Prometheus had an Asgard sheild, right? Ok, assuming that the Daedalus-class have them as well, how is it that both Asgard and Tau'ri vessels manage to stand up to the Orii ships' weapons (in the preivew)? Prometheus got blown up by a satellite, and the Orii can't equip weapons better than that on their ships??

As a side note - why do the Orii ships remind me so much of a Bentusii Trade Station (from the Homeworld PC games)? Both have weapons placed on the front, both have a similar oval design...here's a reference pic:
