Re: The Hive (211)
The Hive is a pretty good episode. The whole premise of both the lost boys and hive were to show one point: The wraith do not trust each other and tensions are getting really high (between the wraith). Thats it... you can go home now...
As to the specific's - we get to see super Mckay - hes faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive.... its SUPER MCKAY. Only available for a limited time.
We see Wraith... err worshippers for the first time.
We get to see kick ass CGI. (some of the best this season)
And no Daedaleus doesnt get involved, but does get beaten up a bit.
Weir is doing the mother hen act.
No Asgard
OK someone else write the plot summery...

Clowns. In the sides (haven't seen the episode yet), there was a scene where Sheppard was babbling to a girl about how on Earth there aren't any Wraith, but there are clowns tumbling out of Volkswagens. The girl doesn't get that he's trying to insert some levity, obviously.

Ferris wheels, clowns. Maybe he has some childhood related complexity where something happened at an amusemet park?

Re: The Hive (211)
John never mentions Earth to Nira. Mais you got to love McKay going all ADHD on Wier and co. The clowns, never really got that, mais it could be a Simpson tie in, (Remeber Bart is afraid of Clowns). I stilled enjoyed the clown bit. Ford just might need to check himself into a menatl instuition. However it was a good epi all in all. Can't wait till next week.
Gotta love living in Canada right now.

Well, you know how Ford has that black eye because he got an overdose of Wraith enzyme. I'm curious, were The Lost Boys and The Hive rated for drug use?

Re: The Hive (211)
Hooooly crap! That rocked! The clown thing was one of the most hilarious things on Atlantis so far. I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard at what Sheppard said.
SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO'VE BEEN ASKING:
McKay takes this mega-dose of the enzyme so he can escape Ford's little cave, and he goes totally nuts. WHACKO! If you prefer. I felt so sorry for him, amused by him, and thinking how awesome he is...all at the same time! Fortunately, no Ford eye for poor Rodney.
Sheppard once again proves his lovely intelligence by figuring everything out before everyone else. (A trend we've seen since "Home" ^_^)
Ford seems to be a little more like himself near the end, after having been off the enzyme for so long. I hope he survives the hive ship explosion!
The hive ships blow each other up because Sheppard tricks the hive queen into thinking the other queen was there to destroy her.
I don't know if I'd call those people "worshippers". It seems like more of a "do X for us or we'll eat you"-type relationship.

Awww, I think it would have been cool if he did get Ford eye. How awsome would he look? They could have made it a temp thing easily.
