Re: Summit (515)
An... interesting episode. The Tok'ra coming up with yet another plan they can't pull off without help from the allies they seem to consider inferior. Finally getting a look at all the major players. Yu, Bastet, Kali, Baal, Morrigan, Oolkun and Svong. Getting to know more how the Goa'uld internal politics works and almost getting to see the Tok'ra wiped out. Osiris and Zipacna's appearance as servents of the banished Goa'uld. What could a Goa'uld do that would be considered evil by other Goa'ulds? Ren'al and Aldwin dead and a bunch more Tok'ra gone. Oh yes.. Did I mention yet another Tok'ra (Lantash, this time) taking an unwilling host to save its own life?

Re: Summit (515)
I have a feeling you disliked the To'kra in this episode, haha.. But i do agree with everything you said. Gosh, the plan to take out all the Goa'uld System Lords would have been such a brilliant idea if Anubis hadn't come back and ruined everything

Well.. I probably wouldn't go quite so far as calling it dislike and its definately not just this episode.
One little snip from the episode pretty much sums up how I feel towards the Tok'ra.
Elliot: I'm looking foward to meeting the Tok'ra.
O'Neill: You'll get over it.

Re: Summit (515)
I loved the costumes of the system lords in this episode. So gorgeous.
Daniel didn't look too bad, either. Okay, I'll shut up and refrain from drooling here and do it in the appropriate thread.
Osiris is such a bad ass. I loved when she confronted Daniel about what he was doing here and the way she said insolence.

Re: Summit (515)
This was one cool ep. Shows what meetings between the System Lords are like, and a little bit more into the personal service of the Goa'uld. The woman they got to do Osiris is absolutely perfect for her part. She just always has this look of, "How dare you even think of speaking to me? I shall kill you if you say another word for you are not worthy of my presence."

Three things you can always count on with goa'uld:
a. the word 'impudence'
b. the word 'insolence'
c. crappy fashion sense

Re: Summit (515)
I thought that there was plenty of suspense in this episode. Even when I rewatch it, I feel like shouting at Daniel to release the poison before Osiris arrives.

Re: Summit (515)
Can anyone point me to an image of Osiris from this episode? I sew and I'd like to try to create the costume she was wearing. I'd like an image to work from.
This is my one & only post in this forum. If possible, can you reply directly to me in email? baileythorne@yahoo.com

Re: Summit (515)
cannibals they ate each other they are all cannibals maybe that is why Anubis chose osiris because he did not want to eat another Goauld

Re: Summit (515)
-Why are their no guards in the gateroom when the Tok'ra arrive?
-Why is SG-1 the only team with P-90's?
-I thought Zippy was dead? Didn't Teal'c break his neck in 'Triad'?

I don't think that's a fair statement. Elliot would have died anyway from his severe internal injuries -- Lantesh was attempting to save him as well as himself. If it were solely selfishly motivated, I would have presumed he would have chosen a less injured host, such as Sam. Plus, without Lantesh's help, they would not have been able to get up to the surface, contact Jacob, etc. I had been thinking that Sam would have put lantesh in an injured SG member had he not already gone into Elliot. It would have been the best course of action.
I do think the tok'ra have some attitude problems and aren't always as upfront as they should be, but they are not a selfish group. In fact they are the most selfless of the races I have seen.
Ahhh, that's his name. The goa'uld who was Klorel's representative at the trial on Tollana, right?
I absolutely agree regarding Osiris/Sarah's performance. Brilliant delivery of her lines. She makes an excellent haughty goa'uld. She's nice eye candy too..

I don't know Anubis very well yet, but seeing as he has committed crimes that even the Goa'uld consider 'unspeakable', I doubt he has any objections to cannibalism.

Who's Zippy? I don't think this 'Triad' episode has occurred yet.
I was very pleased to see/meet Bastet, Ba'al (he's indeed as yummy as I've heard), and Kali -- the last is one of my favourite mythical goddesses. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them and of Anubis.

It's alright, you are hardly alone in your drooling.
