which system lords do you think survived the war and we'll be seeing again?

which Goauld do you think survived the war with Annubis and the Replicators?
I'm going with Baal. He seems like the type who would be able to come out ahead of the rest no matter what the situation.

Yu has to be alive. He is Goa'uld version of Daniel. No matter how dead he seems to be he just keeps coming back.

no Yu is definately dead, replicarters blade killed him. i think the only two that we know for sure werent killed were baal and amateratsu, other than that all the other system lords were killed, but there will be new system lords rising up from the ranks of the lesser goa'uld

Amaterasu didn't die? Must've missed that. But anyway, just because they didn't die in the fighting doesn't mean the now free Jaffa won't kill their former masters in retaliation.

You are totally correct that he should be dead but it's not like it would be a major flaw to have him come back from the dead some way or the other. Yu is not a major character like Annubis or Apophis was just someone that shows up once a seasons or so also Yu is probably the only Goa'uld that is somewhat respectable.

well since they ruined the character with goa'uld senility, i wouldnt want to see him come back

Ba'al!

I believe Amaterasu did die. I think Ba'al or someone was saying that her fleet was destroyed and such. I think it's basically telling you she's gone.

Anubis has likely been destroyed or delt with by the Ancients. Yu, Baal's underlord, and those two other System Lords and jaffa on that station where more than likely killed by Replicarter and the Ancients, and the station itself was either taken over or consumed by the replicators. Ba'al is likely still alive. Amaterasu could still be alive, there was no definite information on her fait, so saying she is alive or dead is speculation until any more informaion comes out. Camulus, Morrigan, Kali, and possibly Zipacna are the only other known Goa'uld that could still be alive, but I would have to put them in the same position as Amaterasu, they could be alive, but they could also be dead.

Ba'al probably killed Camulus, and Zipacna died back in Season 5 (episodes Last Stand).

Remember that Goa'uld killing drug? You're supposed to assume that Elliot/Lantesh's plan worked. They brought him up to the ship and he released it, thus killing Zippy and his gaggle of Goa'ulds

Well, to gain power again, the Go'auld could do like the one in "Warrior" and pretend to be Jaffa.
Still, I'm counting on Ba'al coming back. I'm pretty sure that everyone in the ship died when Replicarter showed up though, so Yu is dead.

The point of the plan was to kill all the jaffa around the gate so Sg-1 could escape. Zippy would've probably still been on his ship when the poisen was released. So he *could* still be alive. Not saying he is. But there is a possability.

Actually, Elliot's plan was to surrender to the Jaffa and they would take him up to the ship leaving very little Jaffa around the gate so SG-1 could escape.

Plus, if he was alive, we would have heard from him by now. He wasn't that cool or important

My memory is a little off, but weren't there hundreds of Jaffa at the gate? You really only need one to haul a half dead tokra to the rings. I thought the plan was that the jaffa would find him, take him to the stargate to be beamed up, and he would release the poisen before he was ringed up?
