Re: no sg1 third movie?
Star wars and Star Trek are "mainstream" sci-fi, of course they have a legion of fans and followers, everyone has heard of both or one of the series. Many people don't know what Stargate is, but as it grows, hopefully the higher chance of future movies does with it.

Re: no sg1 third movie?
You've got to keep in mind that both Star Wars and Star Trek have been around a lot longer than Stargate so you can't really compare them. Personally I like them all equally (although at different times )

A lot more people I encounter have at least heard of Stargate. Definitely more than a few years ago.

Re: no sg1 third movie?
The old Episodes need to be syndicated out to more mainstream stations like USA, Spike, TNT, etc. Or maybe syndicated out to 100's of local station. Most people never watch the Scifi channel

Re: no sg1 third movie?
Yeah, I'd love to see them run on USA or TNT. NCIS got a HUGE boost in viewers when it began its syndicated run on USA.

Re: no sg1 third movie?
Just this year, my cable provider Cox moved SyFy to basic cable when it was only on digital cable, so im sure more people have access to the channel. SyFy gained alot of views form Battlestar Galactica. But I could see SG1 on USA or Spike, Spike used to show DS9 and TNG of Star Trek all the time.

Re: no sg1 third movie?
SG-1 was syndicated on a major national station in Canada, while it was still on the air, it was just a year or so behind. I don't think that happened with SGA, but by that time, I had the science fiction station. I actually thought it was syndicated everywhere.

That would be great. I am for anything that would help this wonderful show gain new fans.
