You know, I was thinking Emperor Penguins since they're the biggest species in the Antarctic, just like the Atlantis expedition is supposed to be the most technologically advanced in Pegasus. And like all penguins, Emperors are constantly attacked by leopard seals, which would be analogous to the Wraith.
To be honest, I'm curious to see what exactly happens. It's been a while since I watched the first season of Atlantis, and I've never watched the original movie. This is probably the first time in my entire life I get to catch a non-game-show TV series from the beginning and follow it. I have no clue how the crew of Destiny is going to get out of their situation.
i like how there are characters that have no clue what to do, there not super smart cocky scientists, or hardcore military personnel. its something that sci-fi rarely touches on.
i like th ewhole idea of people trapped somewhere with no clue what to do. which is why i wrote a story about all the people here at my college (note: in australia we call them universities, not colleges. a college in this sense is the student reseidence i live at) who were some how transported to an alien ship and we have no clue what to do. instead of a group of scientist on the ship, we're a bunch of students who cant control what happens.
