Atlantis, no question. Having watched the first four episodes of Universe I have to say it is dull, disjointed and boring to the extreme. The camera work is naff, the story is too long drawn out and bears too much resemblance to Star Trek Voyager and the characters are totally unsympathetic and I wouldn't care if the whole lot of them died. The only time the pilot episode came to life was when Sam Carter was on the screen.
Sorry Stargate, this storyline is a dead duck.

I think that SGU is better than SGA. SGU just has a better.... I don't know... Feel.
The acting/writing seems better and the problems that the SGU team is facing seems more realistic. The series also gave you more time to get used to the cast before jumping into the issues, so you would get attach to them and they could use that attachment to their atvantage.
I still think that SGA and SG-1 are great, but, I think that SGU is better.
But, hey, that is just my opinon.

SGU? Watched 3 episodes, was bored to tears... when I wasn't snickering at the horrible overacting from certain characters, and I've now given it up as I just can't be bothered to waste my time watching it. It's just not my thing, and I don't like much about it at all. Very disappointing and not worthy of the name 'Stargate' in it. Just my opinion though  |

I've seen any part of SGI, AFAIK it was never even on TV here. I'm tempted to go check it out just to see how bad it really is

I want a fourth option... "V".... omg it was great... gave me the level of enjoyment that sg1 and sga (well the first 3 1/2 seasons of sga) used to.... "V" it is!

Don't be surprised. We tend to like positive shows. We like Heros, action and Drama and SGA offered alot of it. Now it wasn't overly dynamic in plot but it was a good show...all they needed to do was to beef up the writing and stop bring back dead characters.
It's about as bad as animes always turning a bad guy to the good side.

Actually, SG-1 was only added after a lot of votes had been submitted, and since then, SG-1 has been the only one increasing in percentage, therefore has been getting more votes than Atlantis. Also, I would have voted for SG-1 had it been available from the start, but I can't change my vote. If you add all the people who would change their vote, I'd say SG-1 has more voters - the actual results of the poll are rubbish because they didn't reset it when they added it...bad science!

I don't mean to sound like a nerdy fan who talks about science-fiction like it is real, but the problem with 'clever' storylines is that they make the audience start to think, and if you put in bad science, they are more likely to notice it. It breaks the suspension of disbelief
