I hope those episodes of Universe are in HD quality.
I'm debating about purchasing The Compete Series for SG-1 though. As I already mentioned, I own Season 1 as the Thinpak/Slimcase release.

Well, compare the prices of getting each season individually with the complete set and determine which is cheaper. The SG1 complete has nothing new in it.

Stargate SG-1 the complete box set (changed the interior packing so it now holds all seasons, the two followup movies and the original movie (in both dvd and blu-ray and still have room to spare.)
Stargate Atlantis Season 1 (this holiday season that should net more seasons)

I thought it had four exclusive DVD's of extras? The Complete Series set.

 glad im not the only one... i also have two copies of sg1 (seasons and movies)... the original chunky box sets and the portal collectors addition... also have the CotG recut...
mum and dad have all 5 seasons of sga on dvd... i eventually want to get the complete box set for sga myself...
