Well, I did quite enjoy "Search & Rescue" but you're right. They're the only two I did NOT erase off the DVR (had to to get it to record again. Did buy DVD set too WIsh season 5 had had the quality of those two episodes. Probably could have had a season 6 then. Maybe. Perhaps. Who knows?

Oh, that's nice! Highly deserved. The Wraith turning himself into a human make up job in Vegas was very award worthy and The Shrine made me cry. Well done Geminis!

Re: Stargate Atlantis wins 2 Geminis at 2009 Awards
Congratulations SG Atlantis!!!
The awards are well deserved. It is nice to see the show get some recognition. It would be nice for SyFy and/or MGM to make mention of this at some point; because even though the show has been cancelled it is still in syndication and repeats have been on syfy.
The make-up on “Vegas” was extraordinary. A human actor made up to look like a Wraith who is trying to look like a human – it was done very well.
“The Shrine” was not one of my most favorite eps but I did enjoy it. It was well written but in this case I think it was the wonderful characters and the outstanding performances by the actors (especially DH, JF and JS) that really brought those words to life and made the story exceptional.
