Statisically speaking finales bring out higher GW turnouts then premieres
I remember a while back a few of us discussed trying to set a record for the most users logged into Gateworld at the same time. One idea had been to do this after the premier of SGU...is anyone still interested??? I think it would be awesome!
If so, what is the best way to make this happen?
1) This thread could be a start
2) We could create a Signature for as many of us as are willing to use to get the word out
3) Other ideas???
I was thinking we could all try to stay on for one hour after the premier Eastern Time US. We could be more specific and target a 15 minute period of time if that would be easier for the GW Staff!

Very true, so a campaign could easily increase that turnout by a large percentage I would think. GW users around the world could chip in!
I like Gateworld best when the pages actually load, if you know what I mean...

how do u get the cook signature
problem is that for me to be online at that moment id have to be up at 3 am or something since i live in the netherlands. what you are proposing will only work for hte americas(North and south) but i think that Europe and Asia wont be able to pitch in
i might be able to do it if someone tells me wat time it would be for australia
how about trying to get the mos people on one thread instead from as many countries (places) as possible as well
i.e.

That is not the goal and I hope not. The goal is to set a record and if anything, raise Gateworld's profile on an important occasion!
It should be 5:00am Saturday, Central European Summer Time.
Which means I'm either still on a party or sleeping when you all wait for the page to loooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaad after having deliberately attracted to many people to gateworld
That's what usually happens on premieres/finale dates
I'll be on here after the premiere and the scifi (oops... I mean syfy) forums. Dang right I'm excited.
I'll log in if Gateworld doesn't crash lol.
