No. It's about a bunch of sad people who sit staring at their computers all day talking about a canceled show. Seriously.

Unfortunately, bradly08's last post interrupted my posting the episode, so I'm gonna have to wait a few minutes while the forum forgets what I wrote so I can do it again without it trying to redirect me. Hold on.

                  16x13 "GateWorld"
Synopsis: SG-1 arrives on a planet that uses a private network of stargates as a sort of gladiator system, sending disgraced soldiers through to alien worlds to fight for their lives as entertainment... and if the team isn't careful, they might be next.
                  Spoiler:
Stepping through the active stargate on the planet its natives call Foruma, SG-1 is struck by just had advanced this particular society seems to be. Towering skyscrapers stretch off into the distance for miles in every direction, and hovercraft whiz by to and fro. Looking down over the side of the stargate's platform, Vala gulps nervously, noticing that they're suspended hundreds of feet in the air above ground level. Mitchell whistles appreciatively, saying that the people back on P9X-119 really weren't exaggerating when they told Lt. Col. Mcoy and SG-18 that Forumans had built a "shining jewel" of a world. Daniel guesses that it's lack of inclusion on the Abydos cartouche probably helped it survive when the Goa'uld were in power, though it's strange that they never heard mention of it until now. He would have figured a human planet this advanced would have been everyone's first choice for an ally. And it's not as if the natives seem opposed to visitors, not when a welcoming committee is already on the approach to greet them.

They all turn and move out of the way when the stargate unexpectedly activates again, and a delegation of humans, presumably from another world, step through the portal. Carrying staff weapons and wearing clothing not dissimilar to Jaffa, they're clearly not from Foruma. They absently greet the team and hurry past the approaching welcome wagon, making their way to a waiting transport for transit. Daniel wonders aloud where they're off to in such a rush, but Vala remarks that such arrivals are common on interstellar hubs like Chulak or Dakara. They simply wouldn't know since, Earth, for all its prestige, doesn't allow free and open gate travel in and out at any time.

Walking up with a group of escorts, a rather beautiful woman in her late thirties bids SG-1 welcome to her homeworld, introducing herself as Skye. Cameron immediately takes a liking, offering his hand and giving the usual speech about being part of a team from Earth looking to make new friends. Smiling warmly, Skye mentions that they're always looking for new trading partners, and as such would be delighted to meet with representatives of another advanced society. Their stargate address isn't well-known, and with such a large population to take care of, their own government can't always be as exploratory as they'd like. It's something of an affair of state when visitors arrive, so she offers for the team to come and dine with herself and other high Foruman officials that evening. Having skipped lunch to come straight here from 482, the four of them are more than happy to accept, though Eaton wants to radio the ISGC to let them know where they are before leaving. Vala thinks it can wait, though, and she convinces everyone else to at least grab a sandwich before the boring check-in. Stomachs growling, they step into a hovercraft with their hostess and take off for what looks like a massive and sparkling tower in the distance.

Letting the wind whip through her hair, Maj. Eaton marvels at the progress these people have made, ducking reflexively when a hovercraft swoops low overhead. Mitchell snickers at her, though his attention is admittedly just as divided by the city around them. Their transport swerves around spires and ducks under inter-building bridges before finally making straight for the upper levels of the government tower. Watching from its highest floor, a man stands cloaked in shadow watching the offworlders approach, then steps away toward a desk beside the far wall.

Two hours and a banquet later, all of SG-1's members are walking along a concourse inside the skyscraper with Skye and various other government figures. The defense administrator, a man who's given name is Mappalazarou but goes by Azarou for short, is in the process of explaining their complex relationship with nearby worlds. As Frouma is far more advanced than its neighbors, their military offers protection to them in exchange for imports. It's a system that's served them well for centuries, and they've never come up against anything they couldn't handle. That's what Eaton's been meaning to ask about, while they're on the subject, and she wonders how the Goa'uld never found them. They're fairly deep within Amaterasu's old territory, and she was immensely paranoid about attacks from within. She can't believe they just managed to stay hidden all that time.

Motioning out the window toward the stargate in the distance, Azarou admits they were lucky. Much luckier than most other human populations. But then again, given the level of technology discussed by SG-1, it's not as if Earth wasn't just as lucky. Both their worlds escaped the enslavement and destruction that befell so many others, and they should build on that common ground toward an even greater future. Mitchell smiles, but the look fades a bit as the Foruman's wording sinks in. Clearing his throat, Daniel mentions that Earth has invested a great deal of time and energy in protecting those were not so lucky, and their own Alliance's most-populous member is made up entirely of such people. Azarou and Skye exchange surprise glances, the latter asking why Earth is so concerned with those who have nothing of value to offer in return. Vala, coming from such a world herself, says that it has a lot to do with potential. Planets that were dominated by the System Lords typically didn't have much infrastructure or resources left following their gods' demise, but that's changing. With time and assistance from the Alliance, these places can be great centers of commerce or manufacturing, and the galaxy will be stronger for it. There's no reason not to take advantage of that.

Except for their eventual ascendancy to power when you've become weak from so much giving, argues Skye, and then you've drained your coffers only to find ruin. It's better for the less fortunate to simply accept the protection and good graces of those with power, and give their due in return. Her grandfather was a fool such as that and as such, he was cast out like those kinds of men must be. With this turn of conversation, the team's starting to feel a little uncomfortable talking with the officials, so Rebbecca turns the topic towards the gleaming domed building that's fused to the lower right side of the tower. Lighting up immediately, Azarou outlines that it's something of a planetary symbol here, an ancient colosseum that's stood for many centuries. In ancient times, criminals would fight for their freedom for the amusement of the people, but of course they've long since abandoned such barbarism. Today it serves a different purpose, a series of games known as GateWorld. Curious, Mitchell asks if they can have a look, and the defense minister is more than happy to escort them down for the next event. It's quite an occasion, in fact, and they head for a lift to take them down to the arena.

Walking through the stadium, SG-1 is certainly struck by the throngs of people packed into the building. There must be over a hundred thousand spectators here, all cheering wildly as various public figures arrive for today's attractions. The domed roof splits into four sections and seamlessly retracts, letting in sunlight that's filtered to perfection by an energy field high overhead. Cameron stares in shock, whispering to the others that this puts any football field back home to absolute shame. Following their hosts, they head up to a raised box where government VIPs are seated, and take center seats at the urging of the others. They seem eager to demonstrate this cultural event, and the team settles in to enjoy the entertainment.

An announcer robot, designated PG15, steps up nearby and the crowd roars when his metallic face appears on hovering monitors. His voice booming, he welcomes one and all to today's GateWorld games, listing a number of details about the upcoming show. He finishes up quickly and moves straight onto the action, introducing three persons in particular by name and gesturing toward a sunken rectangular area that dominates the lower arena. A nearby door slides open, and three individuals step out, shielding their eyes and looking around worriedly. Studying the closest viewscreen carefully, Daniel suddenly realizes that the people down there are the offworld humans that arrived just after they did. He recognizes their leaders face and clothes, but they don't appear to have expected this. Down below, they're shouting at the crowd as if terrified, then watch as a stargate rises on the other side of the ground level. It immediately begins to dial, and a hovercraft deposits the offworlders' staff weapons at their feet, a shield rising around them to prevent firing into the crowd.

Not liking the way this looks, Cameron turns to Azarou and demands to know what's going on here. Surprised, the official explains that these are the players of the games, warriors from a planet that has recently capitulated to Foruman control. It's custom to break the rebelling spirit of such peoples by sending their military leaders through the gauntlet. They've gradually built a closed network of stargates on worlds with challenging ecosystems and geographies, and it makes for an excellent trial. Should they survive, they are granted influential positions in the new occupational government on their homeworlds, and if they die, they quell any thoughts of revolution among their subordinates. Everyone wins, so he reasons, though SG-1 are appalled at the thought. Eaton and Mitchell suddenly have their hands on their weapons, and Daniel says that they're not going to sit here and watch this. If Azarou and Skye want any sort of future with Earth, they'll release those people immediately.

The tension in the VIP box seems to have been noted by one of the robotic camera operators, and the team now finds themselves projected onto every screen across the stadium. The crowd, previously overjoyed and anxious, now seems to turn angry and distrustful, and Vala doesn't feel at all comfortable on this planet any longer. Insulted, Azarou tells Cameron to stand down or face the consequences, then gestures for the nearby guards to approach. All of SG-1 spins to face outwards, P90s raised, and a standoff ensues with the Foruman soldiers, who look to their commander for orders. Leaning back to whisper to the others, Mitchell says that if it comes to a firefight, there's no way they can shoot their way back to the stargate platform. Normally, he'd suggest just putting down the guns and talking it out, but these people don't seem to the type to go along with that. Snorting humorlessly, Vala suggests that maybe they should have kept their mouths shut about not agreeing with the way things are done around here.

(More of "GateWorld," see previous post for beginning and next post for end.)

                    Spoiler:
Someone behind them says that yes, they should have, and everyone looks to see who's joining the conversation. A man, surrounded by more guards, steps out of a private lift at the back of the VIP booth and steps forward. Both Skye and Azarou, along with all the other government figures around them, bow their heads at once, and the entire stadium gradually follows suit. The man from the shadows, the same one who watched SG-1 arrive, introduces himself as Darenn, the leader of Foruma and the architect of the modern GateWorld games. He's been listening to Earth's apparent ways ever since the team started spouting off, and he's concerned to hear of such a powerful intergalactic world acting in such an idiotic manner. Perhaps they need to be taught a lesson as to why those with such influence cannot allow themselves to be manipulated and destroyed by lesser factions. Nodding to the guards, his soldiers force SG-1 to yield their weapons, then move them onto a hovercraft to descend to the arena. As the platform pulls away, Darenn smiles at them, promising to inform Earth of their untimely death when he visits with an enticing trade offer.

The soldiers roughly eject the team onto the stadium floor with the offworlders, tossing their P90s down to them before retreating through the safety of the energy shield. With no other options, they pick up their weapons and join the three humans, not sure what to do next. The crowd cheers louder and louder, and the stargate finally finishes dialing, locking in seven chevrons and opening a stable wormhole. Incredulous, Eaton asks if they're really expected to willingly just walk through to some terrifying alien landscape, then hears a hum from both sides of the rectangular arena walls. They look over and watch as small turret ports emerge and take aim, powering up to start blasting at them. Grabbing at his teammates and pulling them along, Cameron decides that they're going to take their chances with the games, and the four of them sprint toward the puddle as the turrets open fire. Plasma blasts whiz by and dig up huge clouds of sand, but they manage to dive through the stargate without taking any hits. The offworlders, however, aren't so lucky, and all three of them are shot dead as the wormhole dissipates and the audience roars in approval.

They stumble through a stargate on a foggy, miserable planet somewhere else in the vicinity of Foruma. Several hovering robotic cameras capture their every move for subspace transmission to the stadium, though they're sufficiently shielded to stay safe from SG-1's bullets. As soon as the four of them are through the puddle, the stargate shuts down and is suddenly plucked from the ground by a half-circle clamp attached to a gunship-sized transport. The automated craft raises the portal into the air and begins moving it to a location on the other side of the thick forest they've entered, presumably to the location they need to reach to gate out of here. With no real options, Mitchell keeps his finger on his weapon's trigger and leads the others into the woods, trying his best to ignore the thousands of eyes waiting for their deaths.

As they advance farther into the underbrush, Vala vents about this sudden turn of events, insisting that they should send a fleet or two to pummel the Forumans into the ground the second they get home. Daniel wouldn't be too opposed to that, but in practice they can't just go around bombarding every world that's unfriendly to them. The Alliance isn't going to go down the route of the System Lords, not if the Milky Way's ever going to have a chance for peace. They need to be dealt with, certainly, but they can't let themselves stoop to petty revenge. Glancing back, Mitchell mutters that he sure hopes Earth stoops to that if they end up dying out here.

Their advance into the forest doesn't go on for long before they run into some company, however, as velociraptor-like creatures appear in a circle around them, darting to and fro. Laughing nervously, Mitchell asks if anyone's watched Jurassic Park recently, training his gunsights on one raptor in particular. The creatures whistle to one another in concert and begin closing around SG-1, but then, suddenly, stop in their tracks. They sniff the air, stare annoyedly at the humans, and then sprint off into the foliage, leaving the team more confused than ever. Considering themselves lucky at whatever spooked the miniature dinos, they move on.

They've been walking for sometime when Rebbecca wonders aloud what this planet's test is supposed to be besides getting them lost in the haze. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly dangerous around, and Cameron's even starting to hope that the wrong address was dialed or something. But then, with classic SG-1 luck, they hear a dull thud from up ahead, followed by another and another with increasing proximity. Hissing for Eaton to try knocking on wood next time, Vala ducks behind a nearby tree, and the others quickly do the same. They keep their guns at the ready and try to peer into the mist for a clue as to what's coming, but all they can see is swirling fog. Then slowly, very slowly, a gigantic Tyrannosaurus-like monster emerges, howling at the sky and raking the ground with its claws.

Mitchell, mouth wide open, shouts that someone has got to be kidding them, then opens fire at the beast's head and directs his team to do the same. The robot cameras watch them carefully from above, dodging the monster's flailing limbs, and back on Foruma, the audience is going absolutely insane with bloodlust. It only takes a few seconds of the creature ripping up trees and narrow evasions for Cameron to decide that this is a fight they just can't win, though, and he tells the others to sprint past the thing up the trail. Hopefully they're close enough to the gate that they can outrun it and dial out of here before it catches up. They all set out in a dead run through the forest path, occasionally turning around to fire a burst of bullets as needed. But the monster just smashes through the foliage with ease, and it starts to look as though this plan was a very bad idea.

Nevertheless, they keep going until they finally emerge into another clearing, seeing the stargate has been set down in front of a DHD for them to use. Running over, Mitchell asks Vala if she thinks she can rewire the device to let them gate back to Earth, but she doesn't think they have the time for that. And when they get a look at the interface, they see that they couldn't have done it anyway; there are only seven glyphs available, and an engraving nearby clearly spells out the address for the next GateWorld planet. They have no choice but to continue on this path, and with this being a closed network, Vala doubts they could get anywhere besides Foruman space anyway. With no choice, Daniel punches in the symbols and activates the stargate, just as the beast catches up to them, pauses for breath, and charges anew. While the others evacuate the planet, Mitchell stays back just long enough to make sure they're safely away. Then, with one last shot of gunfire at the monster, he leaps through the wormhole as it dissipates.

He rolls out of the puddle on another planet, this one surprisingly barren and sporting a light purple atmosphere. The team is positioned on the top of a craggy mountain, and there's already another automated ship moving toward them to move it down the peak to their next destination. Growing angry, Mitchell says that he's had enough of this, and turns to his team. There's no DHD here, so they can't reconfigure it to try and dial back home, but maybe they can manually dial within the closed network back to Foruma. Then they should be able to turn around and get offworld before the bad guys have a chance to do anything about it. Without someone like Teal'c, though, it's going to be hard to move the inner ring, but Vala and Daniel hastily remember the correct address and get to it nonetheless.

While they begin rotating the glyphs, Cameron grabs Rebbecca and the two of them get in position to fire on the gate-mover as it approaches. It only takes a few seconds of shooting their P90s to see that this isn't very effective, though, so Mitchell decides to improvise. He reaches into his pack and pulls out some C4, attaching the detonator and readying the remote control. Staring, Daniel asks if he intends to climb up there and stick it on the ship, but the soldier just snorts in amusement. Cameron leans back, sucks in a breath, and then hurls the block of explosive with all his might toward the approaching craft. Just as it passes underneath, he triggers the detonator, and a sizable explosion rocks the automated vessel violently. But that doesn't seem to be enough to bring it down, so Eaton grabs some of the C4 herself and starts to repeat the trick. Continuing to work on the stargate, Daniel can only look on in bewilderment.

Though their unique style of attack isn't effective enough to destroy the gate-mover, it's certainly slowing it down quite a bit. And that gives Jackson and Vala time to lock in the first five symbols of their target address. As they begin sliding the ring toward the next glyph, though, Rebbecca finds that they're on their last pack of C4, and she doesn't think they've bought enough time for them to dial and get out of here. Tossing up their final bit of explosives, she and Mitchell join their teammates in spinning the track. The four of them groan with the effort, grateful that the video drones haven't reached them yet, and encode the sixth symbol just as the transporter vessel arrives overhead, getting in position to take the portal. With a somewhat superhuman effort, they manage to get the point of origin locked in with seconds to spare, jumping aside as the wormhole forms. Even while the mover ship starts to raise the gate out of the ground, they scramble on top of the ring and slip through the puddle, disappearing from view just as the robotic camera crew arrives to document their exploits. In the stadium on Foruma, Darenn and his cohorts don't appear at all amused, and the crowd mulls in confusion.

But the stargate there remains inactive, and SG-1 instead tumbles out of the wormhole in the middle of a peaceful lake ringed by a mountainous forest valley. Scratching her head, Vala points out that Foruma looked a bit more industrious than this, and asks Daniel if they got the coordinates right. But he's certain they did, and he doesn't understand how they got here and more than she does. Someone else seems to, however, and they look to see an older gentleman rowing toward them in a roughly-made canoe. He pulls up to the small island on which the stargate stands and asks if they'd like to join him at his camp, where he can try to help them understand. Mitchell seems hesitant to trust this strange, though, and it shows until the old man mentions that they've clearly just been through GateWorld. Without any further stalling, SG-1 slides into the boat as it heads back for the shore.

The gentleman doesn't say a word as the canoe glides across the water, and he remains silent as he ties it to a tree trunk at the shoreline. He only speaks when they enter the woods toward a small clearing, mentioning that he heard the chevrons engaging from his hut and came to investigate. He's been waiting for many years for someone else to happen upon this place, but no one ever arrived. Leading the team to a small, hand-built cottage in the forest, he sits down at a table and gestured for his guests to do the same, and it's then that Daniel asks how he knew they had been going through the GateWorld gauntlet.

(End of "GateWorld," see previous two posts for beginning.)

                      Spoiler:
The gentleman doesn't say a word as the canoe glides across the water, and he remains silent as he ties it to a tree trunk at the shoreline. He only speaks when they enter the woods toward a small clearing, mentioning that he heard the chevrons engaging from his hut and came to investigate. He's been waiting for many years for someone else to happen upon this place, but no one ever arrived. Leading the team to a small, hand-built cottage in the forest, he sits down at a table and gestured for his guests to do the same, and it's then that Daniel asks how he knew they had been going through the GateWorld gauntlet.

Laughing shortly, the man introduces himself as Tame, and he was once the ruler of Foruma before taking up residence on this rock he's named Aewon. It was under his direction that GateWorld was brought into existence, and under his bloody campaign that so many nearby worlds were conquered. Before his rise, they had aimed to help their less fortunate neighbors, but he wanted more. The people slowly came to accept the slaughter, and generation by generation, they cheered as defeated peoples gave up their best to the interplanetary challenge. They died by the dozens, then the hundreds, and Tame and his victorious army watched with glee as their world became the unquestioned master of their region. Since none of the local planets had been included in the System Lord registrar, they were allowed to live in near-complete isolation. The few visitors that arrived were usually sent through the gauntlet themselves to ensure that far-off rivals never learned of their existence. It seemed like a perfect system that would never end.

But beneath it all, Tame's prodigy Darenn was growing restless. He longed for more conquest, to add to Foruma's spectacular empire, but the old guard saw no need for more. They wanted to sit back and enjoy their spoils of war, but the youth had never tasted conquest like that. So behind the scenes, the young upstart plotted a takeover, gathering support amongst the soldiers and feeding the people lies about their glorious leader. One day at the arena, Tame stood to address the populace during one of the games and found his private militia gunned down from afar. Armed men took him before Darenn, standing in front of the cameras for all to see and adore, and he was publicly humiliated. Sneering, his former lieutenant condemned him to survive the very challenges he had put so many others through, and he was tossed through the stargate.

Amazingly, he survived. He made it all the way to the very last planet and, thirsting for revenge, dialed home... only to step through to emerge here, on this uncharted and uninhabited rock. After so many years to think it over, he's figured out that Darenn must have implemented a protocol in the GateWorld gates so that when any of them attempt to dial Foruma, the wormhole is forwarded here. Daniel remembers Anubis using a similar trick to keep one of his labs hidden ("Prototype"), and Tame sadly admits that he knows little of how the portals work. That was always Darenn's specialty, which is why he never managed to leave. The gate here has no dialing device, and he lacks the knowledge to make it work without that, nor does he remember the coordinates for going home either way. In any event, he's come to realize the error of his ways, and he truly regrets the terrible things he and his forces did to so many innocents. If he could take it all back, he would in an instant, but he doesn't think his people can change now. They've become too obsessed with the ever-filling pools of blood for that.

But maybe it's not too late. Softly, Eaton says that a people can change, just as their own people have changed. Once upon a time, Earth was ravaged by wars amongst their nations. Once upon a time, rivers of blood ran though every city of every continent. But now their people are united under one government, rising to be one of the most powerful forces the galaxy has ever known. If they and their infinite conflicts can find the way to peace, surely the Forumans, such an advanced and egalitarian society, can find its way to do the same. Tame isn't so sure, but Mitchell insists that one way or another, they can get back there to at least give it a shot. Standing, their host asks them to wait outside and let him think, and the team does as he asks.

Tame emerges an hour or so later, carrying only the military-issue pack that he brought with him from his homeworld decades before. He still doesn't think he's going back for anything but execution, but he's fairly sure Darenn and his lackeys have no idea where he vanished to all those years ago. The camera drones had yet to reach him when he dialed out, just as they missed SG-1, but he couldn't care less about their expectations. They make their way back to the island where the gate is situated and begin manually dialing out to Foruma, locking in the glyphs one by one. As they do, Tame grabs Mitchell's combat knife and begins hacking away the gray mane he's let develop over these years, and by the time the final symbol's locked, he looks far more like the brave general he once was. Picking up his bag and watching the wormhole stabilize, he says that he's ready to go home.

The five of them arrive back in the Foruman arena, oddly not popping out at the other stargate on the planet that actually has a DHD. Grabbing his zat out of its holster, Mitchell blames it on that one probably being in use, then stuns the surprised soldiers nearby. Obviously, the guards that watch the gate while it's not being used aren't used to people coming back in that way. From his observation platform, Darenn stands in outrage, shouting to know who dares to interrupt their entertainment and threatening a trip through GateWorld in return. But as the camera bots zoom in on the arrivals, Tame looks up to his one-time friend and proclaims that that competition is nothing he hasn't already come out of, but that he has no intention of repeating it.

Slowly, ever so slowly, Darenn seems to realize just how's down there besides SG-1, and a look of horror spreads across his face. And many in the audience seem to be remembering, too, and Tame turns to them for appeal. He begs of them to remember the dreams they once had, their grand plans to go out amongst the stars and bring greatness to them. Before they had the means, they wanted to make the galaxy a place of prosperity and wonder... and then, when they had the means, they decided to turn it to their will. And what has it gotten them? They were given the gift of safety at a time when nearly everyone else was pushed under oppression, and they used it merely to do the same to others. He led them on that quest, but after his own world threw him out, he's seen just how wrong that was. He's returned to restore this incredible planet to its true potential. To make it the noble bastion of peace that it has always had the chance to be.

Enraged, Darenn orders his men to kill them where they stand, and all of SG-1 readies their weapons for a fight. But the soldiers in the area remain motionless, thinking, as do those in the stands and all over the stadium. Coming to his master's side, Azarou repeats the order to kill Tame and the offworlders, but his command is likewise ignored. Shouting at the audience, he reminds them that they built them to greatness, that their regime secured their empire amongst the stars, but he seems to have lost. The people appear to be rallying behind their returned leader, and Darenn slowly backs towards his private lift, preparing to retreat into his tower and call for help. But suddenly a plasma bolt catches him in the back, and he turns to see Skye holding one of the Foruman energy weapons. She bitterly proclaims that she was told her grandfather betrayed their world, and that was why he was forced into exile. Had she known that her family had been disgraced for simple rivalry, she never would have accepted it. Then she fires again, and Darenn tumbles to the ground, dead. Smiling, Tame mutters that he has only vague memories of his granddaughter, but watching her fell a tyrant like that brings them all rushing back.

A short time after, Tame and Skye are escorting SG-1 back to the main Foruman stargate, discussing what's next for the planet. Azarou and the rest of the newer generation of soldiers are being rounded up before they can revolt against this return to the old ways, but hopefully it will go peacefully. What happened in the stadium was an isolated event among a world of billions, however, and it will be difficult for Tame to gain legitimacy as the restored leader. It will be hard, and Skye admits even now that she struggles to see the wrong in GateWorld and what it has become. But with hope, they can turn their civilization back towards something positive. And in time, perhaps they too can establish a consulate on Heliopolis to join this Alliance the team speaks of.

Dialing out to Earth, Mitchell says that he looks forward to the day. Nodding, Daniel promises that they'll check in sometime soon, and they step through the puddle for home. Watching the wormhole disconnect, Skye and her grandfather turn back towards the city, preparing for the hard business ahead of rebuilding their world. For now, at least, GateWorld is over.

Very nice chapter, I assume the names used were of those on this website? And my apologies for getting in the road of your posting

Oh it's fine, it was just an annoying forum protocol that got in my way. And I tried to stick to mostly real GateWorld things... though I couldn't fit in everyone I wanted to. I only used names that sounded plausible as real people (thekillman, for example, would not work), and of course some things like Foruma = Forum and P9X-119 = s09119
