I think it's time we all to see the truth:
- The Wraith are intelligent creatures. With sence of humour.
- They have honor and in most of the cases they keep their word.
- Their origin is human.
- Yes, they feed upon humans but did they have any choice to survive?
- They deserve to live.
I know that most of the members here are fans of killing the Wraith but people think about it - don't we eat cows??? Are we monsters?

i agree with what you said female wraith we are very similar to them though some humans eat animals and they don't have to as they have other alternates to what they can eat.
But in the case of the wraith we don't know if there is anything else for them to eat besides humans and at the moment that's their only option to survive.
So I'll join the wraith defender club after all my favorite wraith are the queens.

Actually humans don't need to eat animals to survive. As for the Wraith...I think the Wraith in Common ground said that they have to feed in order to survive. I supposed that they need to feed upon humans because there is something in human methabolism which is basic in Wraith organism.

I'm in. I made a thread TIME ago about the Wraith not being evil.
Gotta do what you gotta do too survive. Just like humans have eaten other peoples bodies to survive in major disasters. (It was in a film based on true events I think? "Live" I believe.)

The only real time they've done something worthwhile is 'Common Ground'.

Sign me up! I have always liked them.
There has been a lot of debate as to if they are "evil" or not and if they should / could survive on another food source. It doens't seem like they can, at least I don't remember it being said they had any other choice. It would be interesting to explore what could happen if they got another food source - or no longer needed to take the life energy, but manufacture it themselves. There is so much potential for them.
Count me in.
As a minor comment, I was reading my history book, and according to Josephus, a woman during the siege of Jerusalem killed and ate her own child because everyone there was starving.
And we think the Wraith are screwed up....
