December 2008 - Present When you say Present day I assume that is at least by 2012 right. Hey maybe Star by Star was December 12 2012 or what ever that day is
          This isn't Atlantis?
          I don't think so.
If this is not the Lost City…then where is it?

But if you look at which battles we win, they're usually not very important ones or we only win with staggering losses. The Der'kal are rolling over us in most engagements, and there are dozens of minor battles on here that they're victorious in that we just don't see onscreen.

Hopefully, though, the Alliance will begin to retake lost ground

*Inside scoop , Stargate Sg-1 Writers have revealed they have been planing on having an episode involving the ancient Mayans of Earth and some techonology they discovered that lets them view the future*

Are we going to see some Ori intervention anytime soon? I mean they've had 3 years.

Heh, that's kind of funny, because that's also close to The Sky Full of Stars. Of course, Earth doesn't fall in that episode, but "end of the world" can be interpreted in several different ways, and not all are bad.

Four, actually; there's the one year gap between Season 14 and 15 to consider. And it takes time to start an entirely new government across a galaxy as massive as the Ori one. Tomin has his hands full, but yes, we'll see the Supergate and its cool cross-galactic transportation at least one more time.
