I think the Andromeda stuff is going to keep coming. People can start writing battles for that if they want. There is the option of writing the Asgard vs the Adnihlo in andromeda. I actually have a race which will be very interesting to add to the fleet verse, basicly the are an ancient pirate race (getting old pirate race but they are more like the lucian alliance) who would are going to be the target of the Paradox for a small while...im going to write up thier history and then maybe a battle.

      The Nyax:

Besides the own war for domination of this galaxy one of the few lasting legacies of the Adnihlo may be their resurection of one of the true predakaran hyperraces. The Nyax are a race which existed in this galaxy approxmately 16million years ago. They began as an offshoot from the furlings, a group of several thousands rejected the furling position with regards to the alliance of the four great races, stating that the rejection of so many other races from this elite group was a mark against the collective moral hegemony of the furlings. In many ways the Nyax are alike to the Halen, in that they too rejected the alliance under similar grounds. However the Nyax drew from many other races a coalition of anti alliance renegades, which wished to balence the alliance's power by creating another alliance of less advanced races but which used thier technology tactically and effectively to control trade, communications and intelligence sources galaxy wide. If the alliance were not to be beaten militarily by the Nyax and their companions, then they would be beaten intellectually and tactically. Their mission was the break up of the alliance, they had no specific hatred towards the races in the alliance but rather its existance as a political entity was philosophically opposed and fought.
The Nyax maintained a large fleet of mainly a core furling based warship fleet, however captured ancient and alliance ships, together with adnihlo vessels provided transport and cover for thier opperatives on missions. They are alot like the Tokra of the past, they are of the same species as thier alliance relatives but oppose them in everyway and have similiar objectives.
At the start of the Adnihlo war, the Nyax sided with the Adnihlo, the Adnihlo used the nyax to gather intelligence against the alliance and through the worlds that they conquored provided recruits for the movement. One of the most important aspects of the Nyax is thier ability to communicate, the Nyax have a large network of phase cloaked satalite's all accross this galaxy, that trasmit and store terraflops of data on the predakaran universe and periodically uncloak, and hack the galactic communication systems of the day, updating their memory banks.
The Nyax were trapped like the Adnihlo in thier own time prison. At least all those who could be captured, but given the nature of the organisation not all were to be captured, many died out, but those left behind imprisoned were able to survive Dakara, the Adnihlo knew this and when they were reawakened, the need for information drove them to seek out the Nyax's prison and release them...While they played no part in the war, they have since seeped back in to the worlds of this galaxy, planting themselves deep within waiting until they can once again play a part.
They are rebuilding, thier fleet is growing, the planet they were drapped on was rich in resources, enough, in the past 30 years to have rebuilt a large portion of the fleet they once had. They currently have over 100 warships, each as advanced as powerful as an asgard mothership or Earth's motherships. It will not be earth fighting this new foe, but the Paradox. An equally aged and matured race which represents the most advanced of the alliance, the Paradox are all the Nyax despise and a fight between these two pensions of intergalactic politics is just around the corner.

        -Technical and Historical Notes-

After the adnilho attacked Earth, research was done to design and construct orbital shipyards. The most efficient design was for 4 drydocks to each have their own command hub to organise construction. So the project designated “cobra” was put into construction. After a while, it became apparent that it would be easier to be able to connect these sections together to save space and power. In the picture of the cobra shipyard, it is shown with 4 sections. But many more can be connected together to produce a massive orbital shipyard. The sections are connected via a strengthened docking platform. The docking platform (well corridor) is 900 metres long and connects airlock of one yard to the airlock of the other. In a battle, these ports can be retracted to save the integrity of the shipyards. Each shipyard comes with 4 ion thrusters which can be used to manoeuvre the shipyard into a different orbit. Personnel reside in the command hubs in the centre of the shipyard, in the event of the shipyard being destroyed the central hub can detach itself from the rest of the shipyard and escape with the the ion thrusters. The shipyard does have the resources and size to construct and refit any ship up to and including Gaia sized vessels. There is enough space between drydocks of the different joined shipyards to be able to manoeuvre a Gaia sized vessel out of the drydock and into space. So far only one prototype has been built and put into orbit. The shipyard engineers require permission from Gato to construct further shipyards.

Not trying to upstage David, i have been inspired to create my own ship dock. This is the model i have built for the beam based construction docks which were given to Earth by the Asgard in 2012 around Lantia and were used for the construction of our first fleet, and are still producing ships in pegasus, such as the gaia you can see in the images.

I've had my own idea for a predakara race. I was thinking Tep that we've been saying we want the Adnihilo to be more threatening seeing as we're keeping them around. Well how about we have them joining forces with lots of predakara races like the Nyax, my guys maybe some others. They can make like an anti alliance or something.

Me and David have been talking about this and that behind the scenes, mainly ZPMs and we've come up with numbers...mainly him lol.

                      Using various means we've come up with;

                      10^26 joules
                      10^27 joules
10^28 joules- I think is the best value, bar the planet destroying one
                      For a ZPMs energy.

                      10^28 would destroy 3/4 of the planet and obliterate Mars completely according to David. Also using those 3 figures we were able to come up with Wraith weapon yields. By dividing etc...So if the ZPM had each of these values the corresponding Wraith yield would be;

                      10^26 joules = 400 megatons
                      10^27 joules = 4 gigatons
                      10^28 joules = 40 gigatons

Thats using the siege fleet and assuming when Mckay said days he meant a full 7 days, it could be less than that but its doubtful its more than that.

We're also assuming a rate of fire from the fleet of 100 shots a second, which is pretty high as well.

                      For reference 3 days would yield;

                      10^26 = 936 megatons
                      10^27 = 9.4 gigatons
                      10^28 = 93.6 gigatons.

The figure of 10^28 comes from the shield holding under water for 3333 years with the water pressure.

Anyway, I just wanted the numbers down so I can find them again lol.

Using these numbers we could work out shields for Tau'ri ships too...If we felt so inclined.

I would like to define the power of shield in comparison to one another. So we can have classifications of shields...ie Gaia can sustain 1terratons of fire, goauld ships can sustain 30GT's of damage etc

Here's something for all the Jaffa friends out there, as well as those tacticians who worship at the altar of M'R'N. (only a true fan will understand)

This is the introduction for a new Jaffa; Admiral Kitel.

                              Spoiler:
The 21st day of the Month of Horus, LY 54 (Liberation Year)
                              Tau'ri Date: March 19, 2059 AD / 48 PD (Post-Disclosure)

The Jaffa Nation had once spanned over half of Ko'rai, the galaxy called 'The Milky Way' by the Tau'ri; with thousands of ships at their disposal, and millions of star systems under their control. Now, they were a backwater nation. Reduced to a mere fifth of their former territory, and with less than a thousand Captial Ships in their fleet. Ravaged by the Ori, Aschen, Adnihilo, and a bloody Civil War; the Jaffa had fallen prey to other nations and pirate groups, until they had come to this.

These thoughts were in Sha'vel's mind as he gazed out the viewport of his ship into the swirling patterns of hyperspace. The We'amel was a Ha'tak'ko Class (nicknamed 'Uber'taks' by their Tau'ri allies) warship.

'But that,' he reminded himself with a tight smile, 'is about to change.'

He and his crew were returning to Ko'rai after a twelve year stint in the galaxy the humans called 'Pegasus', with the two keys that would return the Jaffa to their rightful place, and unlock their future.

The first key was a document. A treaty with the Asgard-Lantian alliance, giving the Jaffa advanced shields and hyperdrives, as well as nothing less than a fully operational Asgard Beam-Based Construction Facility.

Yes, this was a great aid. But the Jaffa needed more than ships and technology. They needed a leader who could unite not only the people, but the squabbling Senate as well. A leader who could bring the Jaffa back, and restore them as the power they knew they were. A leader much like the man who was in the private quarters two decks beneath him; the first Jaffa to be promoted to Fleet Admiral and graduate magna cum laude from the Richardson Academy of Tactical Planning in New London.

Admiral Kitel of the Jaffa National Starfleet, son of Ma'ric of the Plateaus.

After the Civil War, the Jaffa military had begun to take examples from the Tau'ri warriors. They had emulated aspects of their command structure that allowed for better cohesiveness of their armed forces. Many of the finest Jaffa chosen to be officers in the new command structure had trained under the Tau'ri.

Kitel was, simply put; the best.

Admiral Richardson himself had personally congratulated Kitel upon his graduation from the Academy, and had even attended the ceremony when Kitel had been promoted to the relatively new rank of Fleet Admiral; a position formerly held only by their Goa'uld masters.

Out of the corner of his eye Sha'vel saw the officer at the sensor/comm station stand and approach him. The backup officer slid smoothly into place as he left, leaving no break in the monitoring of the equipment. The first officer stood, waiting silently for permission to report.

Sha'vel smiled. Not long ago, the officer would have simply shouted whatever information he had across the bridge for all to hear. Yes, they had indeed learned much from the Tau'ri. He turned to the officer. "Report."

"Sir," the officer said, "We've detected a slight flutter in the hyperdrive. If it gets too big we'll be forcibly ejected from hyperspace."

"Have you checked -" Sha'vel began, but was suddenly hit by a wave of force that almost knocked him off his feet. He staggered, and when he regained his balance he turned to the forward viewport.

Instead of the mottled sky of hyperspace, he now had an edge on view of Ko'rai from one of the outer arms. He turned to the sensor station. "What happened!"

The officer looked up and said, "The hyperdrive automatically shut down. We're detecting an unidentified Ha'tak and five modified Tel'tak in the area; possibly pirates."

"What caused the drive to shut down?" Sha'vel demanded.

"I should think that would be obvious, Captain," a soft voice said from behind him. Sha'vel spun around to see Admiral Kitel standing at the bridge entrance. The deck officer belatedly said the ritual call, "Or'Ko'onac, Kree Pel'tak!"

"You see, Captain," Kitel continued, sitting in the chair at the center of the bridge, "Our antagonists out there have somehow managed to acquire a working Adnihilo Hyperspace Disrupter."

                              "How?" Sha'vel queried.

"Does it matter?" Kiter returned, then turned toward the sensor station. "Did our Al'kesh escort also fall out of hyperspace?"

"Yes, Admiral," the officer said, "Sir, the unidentified Tel'tak are moving into weapons range."

"Excellent," Kitel said, steepling his fingers, "Have the Al'kesh take up position directly beneath us, and launch a squadron of gliders. Have them strafe the enemy Ha'tak."

"Yes, sir," the officer said, clealy puzzled.

The gliders sped from the We'amel's hangar, speeding past the Tel'tak as they began opening fire on the We'amel. The Ha'tak rapidly grew larger in their sights, and they opened fire as they came into weapons range. As golden flashes of plasma splashed it's shields, the Ha'tak opened fire on them, but the gliders easily evaded the larger ship's fire.

"Sir," the sensor officer said, "The gliders report no damage to the enemy Ha'tak, and - Wait, the Tel'tak are falling back to defend the Ha'tak!"

"Why in the stars are they doing that!" Shav'el wondered out loud, "Surely the enemy captain knows those gliders have no chance of harming him!"

"Yes captain," Kitel agreed, "I'm sure he does. However; you see, the captain of that ship is a Teenub. And Teenub are cowards. He know the gliders could not harm him under normal circumstances, but he fears deception, and races to save his own skin."

He turned back to the sensor officer. "Launch the rest of the gliders, and have them fly at the Ha'tak in parade-ground formation. Order the Al'kesh to take up position just behind them. When they are within weapons range, have them break and perform a tel'pac'rai maneuver. When they do, order the Al'kesh to break and engage the Tel'tak. On my mark, bring us in towards the Ha'tak"

The gliders flew out of the hangar in perfect parade-ground formation, and the Al'kesh quietly slipped in behind them. When they got within rang of the Ha'tak, the gliders scattered.

Like a meteor entering an atmosphere, the gliders broke into small groups, swinging wide of the Ha'tak and then pulling around hard to engage its flanks from multiple angles.

The Al'kesh, which had been masked by their sensor profiles, engaged the Tel'taks like one of the avenging demons of Sokar. It decimated them, blowing them out of the sky before they even saw it.

"Very good helmsman," Kitel said with a smile, "Bring us in."

Forty minutes later, it was all over.

                              what do you think?
