Stargate Wormholes are possible to make!
So, to start out with, Einstien's theory of space being curved around a big gravitational field, is true. And with that curve, and if the destination planet had that gravitational field it COULD make a wormhole. But the gravity is so strong you would be crushed. So, when we come up with inertial dampeners we could make a wormhole to another planet.
