Dogfight - Ori Motherships VS Replicators ... thingies

    Hi!
i know this has been brought up before
but i'm interested in your opinions on a 1vs1, ori vs repli's, ship vs ship,
    who would win and why?

Funnily enough I was thinking about this just a moment ago

My vote goes for the Replicator's

The Ori had superior firepower just like the Asgard, The Asgard couldn't fight them for all those years.

I think the Replicator's would easily adapt to fighting the Ori with their advanced technology being the number 1 target.

Depends. the Ancient Head Grabby Thing was able to create a device that destroys the replicator bugs.

Do the Ori have the same the technology?

Since the Ori are ancients too, who knows. BUT imo the reason the ancients did that is it was them who MADE the replicators... Ergo they would know of a way to defeat them.

Possibly. Ori probably is smart enough to figure it out. Sure they will have their defeats at first and then slowly they figure them out. Are Replicators immune to Prior's powers?

Also will replicators "adapt" to the Ori beam weapons like they seemed to do with all other weaponry?

Yes. Is there anything special about the weapon that would make it immune to Replicator adaption?

Also, why were not the replicators able to adapt to the asgard beam weapon? IIRC before we fought over Asura, we had several encounters with Asuran flown Auroras, and blew them up, so why didn't they adapt to those weapons/?

Taking a wild guess is that the ships were not made of replicator blocks like the other replicator ships. Even the ones that were taken over seemed to be enhanced by the blocks themselves.

The Asurans looked like they operated their ships like any human would. As opposed to the SG-1 versions which seemed to merge themselves with the ships they took over.
