How does the US & CA get a UK TV show product first?

Are they just using us as a test market?


Test to see if the product is junk or not by foisting it on the yanks?

There's this thing called licencing... and I dare say some yank company licenced the rights to make the speaker, and then - voila...

It's the same as the special limited edition coins that were minted during 2013 to celebrate the anniversary - in NEW ZEALAND! These weren't just any old coins, they were pretty spesh, and spensive... And from NEW ZEALAND, of all places...

Let's see.
Licensed to a decent sized media franchise. Check.
Replicas of items in the show. Check.
Marketing via facebook. Check.
Expensive as hell. Check.

Bet they sound like crap.
