    Would you go there??

Say you find an ancient devie that allows you to go to the destiny (no other beings can go, but you can take what you want).. It is NOT a one way trip, but you must remain for 14 days before you can return to earth (and then remain here for 14 days before going back).

    Would you go/.
    What do you take??

If I could read Ancient, perhaps. That way I could get specs on technology that I could reverse engineer (or at least sell to others) and make myself a few million/

Most definitely, I'd go. I'd take food, lots of food, and other survival stuff. And a couple of naquadah generators or some other powerful power sources.

Why would I not go? OF COURSE I'd go. I'd enjoy the adventure and I'd take with me all the Kinos I can carry. Oh and one recharging plate too.

I'd go to, and for the same reason. But before going, I would recruit a group of scientists and with the help of the Destiny crew via the stones, we would come up with a temorary fix for the entire ship. Then I'd take the same group of scientists to the ship, along with lots of food, drink, clothing and spare clothing for the crew and of course, my research and a couple of power sources. Then we'd study the Destiniy's database and eventaully make a selection of Galaxies and planets that might have some spare parts for the ship. Eventually, we'd manage to fix the ship completely, while the crew would deal with Ursini, the Blue Aliens, the Obelisk Aliens and maybe even the Novans, while exploring hunderds of planets.

Then we would all return home, to Earth, with a crapload of Ancient technology.

I go in a skinny minute. Food for 30 days.

Sure. Why not? It would be like a holiday.

                  What do you take??
The usual; food, water, sleeping bag, plush cthulhu, camera, "I come in peace" sign, War and Peace (to read during the boring moments), emergency sex slave (for when I've finished War and Peace), toothbrush.

                  All the sensible things, really.

On that, I must agree. The stones ruined some SGU episodes(Life, Gauntlet), though they were useful in others(Earth, Seizure)

I would go for the adventure but what I would really want to see is that incredible view from the observation deck while Destiny is in FTL. I can't imagine anything more beautiful.
I would take the normal survival things plus a hoard of chocolate and a camera.

I would go in a heartbeat. I have been dreaming of stuff like this since I was a child. I might even voluntarily stay there, and callously accept that my family would suffer for the entire lengths of their lives not knowing what had happened to me. No man should reject such an opportunity.
