For those who've never heard of it, Full Thrust is a tabletop miniatures game for space combat produced by Ground Zero Games.

I've written Fleet Book Babylon 5 for Full Thrust, a book giving game stats for a collection of Babylon 5 warships. Primarily of interest to miniatures gamers, but Babylon 5 fans might enjoy reading my analysis of various fleets and ships.

http://members.ozemail.com.au/~laran.../B5/index.html

It's non-commercial and unauthorized - think fan-fiction for gamers. You can download and distribute it for free, under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND license.
cheers,

In seasons 2 & 3 we got to see some of Susan's heart in her relationship with Talia Winters. It was even said that Susan thought she "loved Talia". I'd like to hear people's take on their relationship and what it would have meant for the show if it had had the chance to develop. Do you think they were a good match? Would it have been romantic or simply an affectionate, close bond of friendship?

I'll start I guess. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of the Talia character to begin with. I thought she was too snooty for my tastes so my thoughts on their relationship is probably skewed. I don't imagine them being a good romantic match (particularly with all the baggage Susan had about telepaths) but I'm not discounting it either. Even the hint of it suggested an open-mindedness to possibilities on human emotion.

Thoughts?

Ok I've not seen this thread under B5 yet so please forgive if it is here somewhere. I know B5 didn't exactly try to be flashy and personally I was more interested in what they said than looked like. But I never turn down appropriate comments toward an attractive man. So I'd like to hear your thoughts....

Me, it's a hard choice but I'd say either:

Lt. Corwin or Galen...

I can't believe I don't see any posts about this. Bruce Boxleitner of Babylon 5 and Tron fame has been trying to get a fantasy show called Lantern City off the ground for a year now. He is doing everything backward. He has a good people committed to being in it, John Rhys-Davies, Mira Furlan, Tony Amendola, and more. He is trying to build a fan base before he even has a show, in particular Steampunk fans. They are even taking submissions of Steampunk artwork to be showcased on the show. Yeah you read that right, they are taking fan submissions for items they will showcase on the show.

I was at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo last weekend in and sat in on the Lantern City panel. It was great. The show sounds like it could be great. They announced an illustrated novel called Rise that will be released in July just before San Diego Comic Con. It is a prequel that takes place one hundred and fifteen years prior to the era that the show will be set in. You can pre-order it now at their website. They are giving away goodies with pre-orders like autographed copies and so forth. Anyway, go check out the website if you are a fan of BB, Steampunk, anyone in it, anything fantasy. It looks cool. Also, sign up for their site, like them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter. In this day and age numbers of people who sign up for those things can get them funding to make the show. I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS SHOW ! ! ! ! Here is a link:

http://lanterncitytv.com/

AND spread the word around this forum if you can. At least people should go look at the concept art and back story stuff. It sounds pretty interesting. There are also a few Boxleitner promo videos.

I am a huge Babylon 5 fan, a big Stargate fan, and I think we should all get involved in stuff like this. I hope that actors from both of these great franchises can keep coming on board. I can't believe I have forgotten to come to this forum for so long. I almost forgot to come over here and tell folks.

ALSO BABYLON 5 FANS - - - - -

IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THEY ARE DOING A BABYLON 5 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT PHOENIX CON starting, I believe, May 23rd. There are many stars of the show who are going to be in attendance. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO upset that it doesn't look like I am going to make it.

POINTS OF THIS LONG POST - check out Lantern City and B5 20TH Anniversary Celebration at Phoenix Con.

Hey I've been playing the B5 full conversion mod from Star Trek Armada 2 and although I recognize some weaknesses in its coding I like it.
Does any one else play the game? Any comments on favorite races, annoyances, or maybe other mods or versions of the game elsewhere?

For anyone who has not played the game but would like to, you would need the original Star Trek Armada 2 cd but the mod can be downloaded for free at armada2.filefront.com or click HERE
