Everyone knows the myths and very little truth that happens at Area 51 but at Area 52 the work is even more secretive and no one in the public or outside of the base even knows it exists. It is a fictional base that is run by the Air Force that deals with alien technology, aliens and off-world missions via the use of our own flying saucers and missions through the gateway device which is essentially the same as a stargate but different.
