If they can do it for Veronica Mars you can do it to.
What scifi show would you kickstart?
Your post is misleading. Your thread title is Kickstart a scifi show! You mention that it was done for Veronica Mars, but this is an extremely false statement. For one, the show wasn't science-fiction, it was a high school detective show aimed at a teenage audience. A TV show was not kickstarted, but rather a movie.
Perhaps this thread should be titled kickstart a movie?
Star Trek: Enterprise because it had so much potential but was never finished.
CBS holds the TV rights to Enterprise. Leslie Moonves doesn't like science-fiction, and he was partly involved in the show's demise. This will never happen so long as CBS has the TV rights to Star Trek. As for a big screen movie, nope again, Paramount is focusing on J.J. Abrams new take on Star Trek.
