As a Goa'uld, I would have to say (2); But there is a possibility of (3). Of course, for there to be a (1) they would have to make the Wraith much more interesting but I am not optimstic, especially when they can't even come up with a better name than that.
You Tau'ri have such potentional, why do you not use it?

The Wraith are starting to look pretty cool. Sleep for 200 hundred years, wake up munch some people, make that screech noise.
I'm glad that they didn't have the Goolds tag along. I think that we need a change of scenery.
But I'll go with #3, as I haven't seen a lot them yet.

I've never found the Goa'uld to be a great enemy, just humans with bad accents. I have a feeling that the Wraith will at least be freakier, though the Replicators are still my favorites.

I think the wraith will be a cool enemy, but as long as they have a decent history for hating us, like the Goa'uld were parasites, thought they were above us and took on the role of our ancient Gods.

The Wraith will be lethal,but you cant beat a good old Goauld,Anubis was evil,but still the most classy bady of all in my mind is Apophis(ie,Apepi in Ancient Eygpt)he liked to whatch them suffer before killing them :S

Doesnt it also depend on if the Gould are our favourite enemies? They arent half as formidable as they think they are. Having not seen the Wraith in action I cant comment on them. I do have to agree with USS Thunderchild, the replicators are my favourite enemies also, I wonder how well the Wraith would do against them?

Yeah, hehehe, does look similar, and CotG should've been Stargate-II! I posted on another thread that was on about making a Stargate-II using Russel/Spader etc and I said they should do a remake of CotG... Nobody else was hot on the idea tho!

Sure, I mean Todd, Michael, etc. have their own personalities, but it was interesting how EVERY system lord had distinctive behavior.
