By the way, I watched Singularity earlier tonight and absolutely love the part when Jack is frantic about Sam and calls her by name. It's so endearing (and outside the military protcol). How many other times has he called her Sam? I can't remember.

There was a Sam in ITLOD, after she's attacked by the bounty hunter.

Someone pointed out earlier a Sam in Fire&Water when she and Teal'c arrive at Jack's house for Daniel's wake. (Oh, and another shippy moment I loved from that ep is when Sam has that flashback at Daniels and Jack rushes to her and grabs her... Shippy Squee!)

He called AU Sam "Sam" in POV, but that doesn't quite count.

I don't remember any in between, but I could be wrong. I haven't gone through all the transcripts or DVD's in a while...

And while we're on the subject, Sam's called Jack by his given name very few times. First I can recall is in Solitudes, though she's pretending to be Sarah, so it almost kills the effect.

Then again in ITLOD. This one is also subject to debate--was it really Sam or was it Jolinar trying to manipulate Jack? I choose to believe it was really Sam, especially after reading the interview quote from AT where she stated that she was playing it as though it were really Sam. That seals it for me. She who creates the character knows better than anyone who was begging him for help!

Again, a big gap until the next time "Jack" slips past her lips.

IMO, this is the moment that kick-started the ship. S&J were almost never more than a foot apart for the rest of the ep....or the entire series, for that matter.

Enemy Mine: Not a S/J-heavy ep. at all, but the infirmary scene is cute: Jack is all grumpy and snappish with the nurse, and then Sam walks in and asks him how he's doing. Not only does he change his tone, he VISIBLY softens.

I'm sure I'll think of more, but in the meantime, I'll leave you with this general observation:

Notice that in every single hug scene, it's never just a simple hug but more of a snuggle, whether it's Jack's head in Sam's neck, his hand on the back of her head, his arms giving her a squeeze. It's always very loving, always a "way-more-than-friends" type of hug...fantastically shippy!

Now for some spoilers, although there weren't many, people didn't ask many questions about the show!

I don't remember what did they ask MS, but his answer was related to Ripple Efect, he said that it was a great ep, but he hated it, because... Spoiler for this ep (and OMA this answers your Q in the JM thread)

Regarding Vala.... A lady asked something like when were they going to kill Vala or something like that... peopled starting booooing and CJ asked, let's do a poll, how many of you like Vala and almost all the room raised their hands, then they asked how many of you hate Vala and I think around 10 people raised there hands... then he asked how many of you that HATE Vala are Sam Carter fans and all those how raised there hands before raised them again... so he made a point.
