Gilmore Girls finale (spoilers)

Well?? Thoughts, anyone?

There was a lot happening, as is typical. Not sure what to make of Lorelai's parents being separated. I always kinda admired them as a couple and while I can see them being an irritant to each other I can't believe it would be so much so that they'd split over it.

Jason. I'm sorry, but I've always found him finicky and intensely creepy and now he's just getting creepier. Nice to see a guy trying to fight to keep Lorelai, but why did it have to be THIS one?

Luke. LOVE him. Love the, "I brought you flowers, dammit!" attitude. I'm a little worried about how things are gonna work out, though. He's putting his heart on the line in a very serious way, and between Lorelai's track record and not knowing how many more seasons the show will last... I just hope the writers get it right. Stargate has made me all freaked out and paranoid about ship, now. I don't want to see two characters I love turning into complete idiots. I think I'm probably much more of a UST person when it comes to those two, although the kisses were very nice to watch. :D

Rory. Rory, Rory, Rory. *shakes head* I can understand why she did it but oh, was it ever wrong. And you KNOW Dean isn't going to leave Lindsey. He doesn't have enough backbone to do something like that. He's a sweet boy, but not nearly as perfect as Rory seems to think, and I'm not too keen on his possessiveness.

Kirk. Nekkid. Gods help us. :P Learned way more about him tonight than I ever wanted to know. hehe. But that's Kirk for ya.

All in all, a decent ep. I'll be very curious... and wary... to see how things develop next season.

...I think the DeLuise Delegation should do a spin-off and call it Gilmore Guys. Michael in tights was one of the best things all season! Let's see...David did "Robin Hood: Men in Tights", now Michael has done his "tights" thing with the Renaissance wedding. Dad did Urgo...OK Peter, it's your turn!

It was a good episode. Luke and Lorelai, Lorelai and Luke, woo hoo! And not just one kiss but 2. It gives me hope that she initiated it the second time. I'm sure they'll yank our chains next season though. They can't ever just have two people get together without it being all drama and tears. I know they worry that people will stop watching after L/L hook up but I don't really see that being a problem because there is so much they can do with them as couple. And they're perfect together. They bicker exactly like my parents and they've been married for 33 years.

I agree with Shadow on the Rory thing. Dean won't leave Lindsay. And I have to say that I didn't see the whole Rory actually sleeping with Dean thing coming. Looks as though it will be drama central next season. I just pray to whatever deity is in charge of t.v. shows that they don't drag out the L/L thing too long. IMO that's what turns viewers away. They get sick of waiting and waiting and waiting for them to finally get together and then they get bored. Here's hoping.
