Of Light and Darkness - Abandoned as an infant in Prague, Charlotte Ruzikova was raised by Valek, one of the last Vampires left alive. Genocide and war conflicts their secret society nestled deep in the woods of Eastern Europe.

What happened to rotten flesh and sharp teeth where they didn't tenderly suck on their victims neck but ripped it open with their mouths?

Why do a kick ass vampire movie when you can suck it up (no pun intended) by throwing in a terrible love story and appealing to 14 year old girls.

I've not read the book yet, but going by the book reviews on Amazon (nearly all good) it looks like a sort of fantasy storyline with many twists and turns in it. The book only has been out a very short time just couple of weeks!

Yes, vampires are great even Buffy/Angel style, but this twilight, vampire diaires sucks big time, where is my blade when you need him? Were there no talks about a new Dracula movie about his voyage on the Demeter? Or did I dreamt about it?

Blade is currently doing 5 or so years for tax evasion.

Sadly it seems that Twilight and Vampire Diaries will give this generation the wrong impression of vampires.

Another good example of todays "vampire" is true blood. At first it was "Okay i can watch it if i'm bored" but now..
