Is it me or does scifi shows tend to hit a catch 22 with success that the more popular the more you get but no matter how good it gets with too much it kills the audience....like star trek...enterprise was good but never really got a good audience like tng did. I think sgu was excellent but the hard to find ratings might had more to do with the stargate name than the show just cause too much history i think tends to alienate new audiences. anyone else think so?
