That was OLD SCHOOL stargate

A group of people from Earth explore a planet with humans that are not as advanced. Soon after, alien fighters appear and attack said groups while they flee to the stargate under fire.

What happened in this episode really reminded me of those times in SG1.

Sure did. But liked that it had SGU twist to it.

Yeah, it was. One of my favourite episodes as-well. Although most of the episodes this season have felt old school. The government conspiracies in early SG-1 were very similar to much of the earth episodes this year.

People being infected with Alien technology and viruses, having to go to an advance race to get it removed. It's been a great year, it's a shame it's coming to an end so soon. If only they'd had better pacing in season one
