Echoes

This science fiction show called Echoes was created by Mark Savela (VFX master of SGU and SGA) and Ken Kabatoff (production assistant on SGU). The production crew includes James Robbins (production designer of SGU/SGA/SG-1), Mike Blundell (director of photography on all Stargate shows), the great director Will Waring, Joel Goldsmith and about 80% of the SGU crew. The actors who'll star on the show are Jen Spence and Mike Dopud along with Victoria Pratt and Lochlyn Munro.

Here's a little descpription of the show:

The action begins two years after the alien war has ravaged Earth. The main character, a woman played by Spence (Dr. Lisa Park on "SGU"), is leading a band of survivors across the U.S. in hopes of figuring out how the war began in the first place.
Two alien races battled each other, not humans, and destroyed Earth in the process.

I see what they're trying to do with the different story line but I think it will still end up being all too similar to other end-of-the-world plots. Regardless, I hope we get to see something come of this.

An I do not mind having more Lisa park on our TV screens at all.

I hope we see plenty of in sites into the two warring cultures. This side seem very original and I certainly do not know TV or Film that focus on this area.

Through EFC came close, but not really as the Duridians never really arrive on the scene.

I hope there will be more news about this series soon, for me it sounds quite interesting since there will not be any stargate in the near future (except what is left of season 2 of sgu)

Through I got a feeling its success will depend on how Fallen Skies is receives, if it is successful it will put pressure on other networks to come up with a rival, an this looks like it got potential.

I like the sound of us Humans being stuck in-between the two alien foes.
An the solder in that tweeter image looks awesome. Not entirely sure the actors work in the show through, in the images they look a bit out of place, especially Pratt.

This series looks awesome, and I trust the cast and crew to get it right. I hope that it gets picked up for a full series; it would be awesome for most of the Stargate cast and crew to be back at work.
