    Nbc - 17th precinct

Anyone here of Ron Moore's new project? Sounds pretty interesting and the fact that both Jamie Bamber and Annie Wersching have at lest hooked on watching the Pilot. My only main concern is that it's supposed to air on NBC and with their track record lately...

It can pay to have low ratings. NBC's pitful condition means they will accept lower numbers for a success then if the show was aired on another network

Let's see whether Ron More can avoid another car crash of an ending.

I hope he actually makes this one entertaining, and the scripts make sense an do not inconsistencies like Virtuality did an gaping plot holes that even I can spot.

The more, the merrier. Battlestar Galactica developer/executive producer Ron Moore has tapped a third cast member from the hit Syfy series — Tricia Helfer — to join his latest sci-fi project, the NBC pilot 17th Precinct.

Jamie Bamber, James Callis and Tricia Helfer. BSG reunion in full swing on this show.

One has to wonder if having so many actors from the same show can distract people and make it harder to see their new characters...

Personally I wouldnt mind if they just rehire the entire cast from BSG

BSG Reunion? Magical Law and Order show as done by Ron Moore?

I DO NOT MIND A SINGLE PART OF THIS ENTIRE THING! Could be a better Dresden Files-esque show than the Dresden Files show.

Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN! ~

17th Precinct has been busy busy shooting all around town here in Vancouver. I met a few of the cast and crew during the shoot so far

James Callis and I on day 2 of filming

Matt Long and I during the day 4 shoot. Very nice guy. Took the time to ask me my name and even got a crew member to take the photo

Creator and Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore always seems to be on hand supervising the pilot shoot. This was day 5.

Director of the pilot, also co-executive producer Michael Rymer on day 5 of filming. Some may know him as one of the long time directors of Battlestar Galactica too!

And of course Jamie Bamber. This was a fun day. Day 6 of filming. I got a tour of the filming area and one of the assistant directors even set up a little meet and greet with Jamie. He had a cold but still took time to say hi and snap a pic.

Unfortunately, Futon Critic is reporting the pilot was not picked up for a full series.
