Telford: Destiny follow us??? How did he know...

That the crew can now control Destiny?

He disappeared in an episode before the bridge was revealed to the entire crew. Only Rush was secretly able to steer the ship to dock with the seedship. So how does Telford know all of a sudden that the crew now have total control over Destiny?
The return part II: Sheppard contacts O'Neill from the jumper and tells him their mission isn''t sanctioned by General Landry.
General Jack o'Neill: "So am i to assume you're not surrounded by heavily armed SG-teams and young strapping marines?"
Dr. Weir: "You've got Colonel Sheppard, Ronon, Teyla, McKay, myself and Dr. Beckett."
Jack: "Oooh, Dr. Beckett is it? Oh i'm comforted!"
Dr. Beckett: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Well the fact Destiny was off its Ancient flight path is a pretty good guess

maybe the seed ship was just following destiny and he figured it out when destiny went to go investigate the battle. but yeah i don't really trust him either.

Maybe he was told by one of our guys escorting him to the Bridge ? Hey this is the Bridge Rush found it & unlocked the master code while you were away. It would take all but 10 seconds or so to say that by the time Telford boarded Destiny & made it to the Bridge. A little imagination people

Destiny docked the seed ship by itself, Rush was in the observation deck when it happened

Maybe the seed ship know where Destiny is at all time, Telford did say the seed ship has been trying to catch up with Destiny

Destiny may have a follow the seeder function (or the writers forgot when he left)

We know the Seeder ships are destiny are linked by sub space radio an the seeder ships constantly sends destiny new data. Which could be a other reason why destiny have to constantly leave FTL.

But it should be pretty easy to trace the subspace signal back to the location of the destiny.

As to how he knwe they had control of the bridge, pretty easy the Ursini have most likely map the gates in there galaxy which may have led them to the seeder vessel in the first place, they use a copy of that map to tell that Destiny has gone of the trail of Stargates that the seeder vessels have laid down ahead of destiny to mark her route.

considering Telford knew where destiny was, that they had more control was a safe assumption

I thought they had control over sublight engines all the time, just FTL was out of bounds.

That was after they flew into the star.

I trust telford for now but i do agree that this is a very good point. the only logical solution is that they saw destiny change course and figured they had control. *shrugs*

They had no control at all - thats why in Faith they had to go around the sun and pick them up on the way back around. The ship plotted that course and there was nothing they could do.
