    My top 123 Sci-fi movies.

    Sci-fi has been my fave movie genre for the longest time since i was a kid back in the 80's even when i saw Enemy Mine, Aliens, Star Treks 3 to 6, The Abyss, T2 about 4 times, Total Recall, Jurassic Park 4 times and more since i was a kid of the 80's/early 90's and teen of the mid-late 90's even watching Star Wars and Star Trek movies onvideo but when i reached 13 i discovered Blade Runner from one of my city's video stores and loved it it became my fave movie since then. I also discovered other things like Akira, Brazil (thanks to seeing the hypnotic trailer on the 12 Monkeys video), City of Lost Children (Also thanks to seeing cool ads for it on Sci-fi magazine and the newspapers including good reviews even at my libraries's internet), Time Bandits, 2001, and more in 96 when i was 14/15 as i even saw Independence Day about 4 times in theaters as well as seeing Ghost in The Shell in a theater and Star Trek First Contact as i had an obsession since then.

        meh there was a time when I was impressed by blade runner, but in hindsidght it is a little bit too boring, I liked the computer game about it better than the movie...

        I'm more a fan of Brazil, although ultimately when it comes to the best sci fi movie overall I would have to go for the predictable Star Wars... because it really is that good
        I'm an average viewer. As plain as they come. People make TV shows based on my demographic.

            Look at 82 and 97. You listed the same movie twice.
            I call shennanigans! There's only 122 movies in your top 123 list... although... You have two versions of Metropolis in the same spot so I guess there's still 123 on the list. *grumbles*
