At this point Sam really doesn’t know her commanding officer very well, but she is given a very rare glimpse into his personal life. She sees Jack’s pain and knows a little of that kind of deep and lasting loss herself (from her mother’s death); she is in complete sympathy with him.

A - Affinity - At the end of the infamous lab scene, Jack says, "I'd be here," and kisses Sam senseless.
B - Broca Divide - where, instead of dragging Sam off to the infirmary, Jack drags her to the nearest closet where much noise and growling and stuff is heard, but nobody can find the key to the closet.:D
C - Chimera - Jack visits :eek: in the hospital and warns him to never attempt contact with anyone involved in the sting opperation :eek: crashed, with extra emphasis on the consequences of such an action.
D- Divide and Conquer - Sam says they can leave it in the room...Jack say's he doesn't want to :)
E - Ex Deus Machina - "Not exactly... I just got back from my honeymoon with General O'Neill."

H - (A) Hundred Days - Jack tells Laira he's saving himself for his true love (Sam), then takes Sam in his arms in that last scene and kisses her senseless because he's missed her so terribly.:D
I - It's Good To Be King - The last scene was originally scripted to be King Harry's wedding to his two brides, and those flowers Jack and Sam were holding were the brides' bouquets they had caught... You know what that means!
J - Jolinar's Memories - When Sam cries out in agony while using the memory recall device, Jack rushes to her side and wraps his arms around her in a classic Jack-hug.
K- Death Knell- Jack does lean over and place a kiss on her head and she wraps her arms around him and he hugs her tight.
L - (The) Light - When Jack grabs Sam on the beach and she grabs him back, they stare into each other's eyes for a moment, then kiss each other senseless!:P:D (sensing a theme here?:D)
M - Moebius - After realizing they are trapped in Ancient Egypt, Sam and Jack agree that Regs really don't matter anymore.
N- Nemesis - Sam accepts that fishing invite from Jack...and Thor doesn't interrupt ;)
O - Out of Mind - Jack gets an eyeful when Sam's blanket slips a little too low...
P - Paradise Lost - Sam's on the rescue ship and she runs straight into his arms, knocking him to the ground and kisses him senseless.:D
Q- Quest Part 2- After she punches Ba'al she says "That's for what you did to my husband"
R - Ripple Effect - Sam slaps Alter-Marty for trying to kiss her and informs him in no uncertain terms that she is very happily married to Jack.
S - Serpent's Venom - when Jack rests his face against Sam's tummy under the bomb from the minefield ... uh ... er ... need help here ... what to do with this???? :D
T - Threads - Sam tells Jack she broke up with :eek: and asks Jack to take her *Fishing*
U- Upgrades- Once they get back Jack wraps her in a hug
V - (Point of) View - (Cheating, I know...) AlterSam tells our Sam all about being married to Jack.
W - Window of Opportunity - After the awesome dip kiss loop, Sam realizes the "no consequences" benefit of the time loops and drags Jack into the nearest empty storage closet.
X - eX Deus Machina. sam tells barrett to back off, she's a married woman now.
Y - (The Devil) You Know - (I know, *really* *really* cheating there!) Still under the influence of the Blood of Sokar, Sam turns to Jack for comfort and they share a passionate kiss right in front of both Marty and Dad.
Z- Zero Hour- Sam follows Jack into the locker room and helps as he changes into his clothes that he abores...and suddenly they're his favorite clothes ;)

We see here one of the few times Sam is actually disappointed in Jack. Finding him in such a position is a big letdown for her because she had come to believe that he was different than other male officers she had served with.

This comes in a series. I couldn’t help but see a comparison between two hall scenes. One where Sam is trying to convince Jack to listen to her that Hathor is bad news. The other in Sacrifices where they are discussing the relocation of Ishta’s people. In both they are walking next to one another, discussing the situation on base, and there is touching. In the first, Sam is still trying to be respectful and prove herself to him, even though she knows something is wrong. In the second you can see and feel a closeness and connection between them; they are on equal footing.

Now that she knows she has it, she believes it’s too late.

She appreciates him looking out for her best interests, knows she is risking court martial and the end of her career, but she’s determined to go. She won’t let him or the rest of her team down. Echoes of that first mission when she insists on taking her place on the team and going through the gate. Of course, back then Jack didn’t want her there. Now he does.

I know she’s not actually looking at Jack in this shot. But I still consider this look as one for him because just before this Sam was all caught up in the details. Their gliders were shot; they didn’t have much air, etc. But Jack has a way of making her stop and really see what’s important. They were in orbit above a beautiful planet, their home, the together they had saved. Jack made sure she didn’t miss that moment.

Okay, the ep we've all been waiting for has arrived: Threads!

Eight long years of Shipping is finally about to be rewarded. I know I'll never forget the day it aired... I was right here with my Ship Family as it was airing for the first time ever--in the UK, and I'm way across the pond on the west coast of the US!

I was blessed with a kind hearted friend who lived in the UK; she chatted with me in YIM for the whole run of the show, giving me a blow by blow account of the full nineties minute ShipFest--which, crazy Shipper that I am, I immediately copied and spoiler-posted here on the Thread for my fellow US Shippers to enjoy! I screamed so loud that everyone in the house came running when she told me about the Fishing scene. Now, understand, I am a spoiler junkie. I knew that the scene was coming up--in Moebius. I'd had no clue it would appear in Threads. I was over the moon ecstatic! (Along with every other Shipper in the world!)

I know you were expecting the kiss, but this is more poignant. This is right after Jack tells the alien archeologist, “I lost my son!” Jack is not one to share his pain, and Sam is witnessing it up close and raw. She's seen it once before in Cold Lazarus. There it was just sympathy. Now she looks at him with so much empathy and love. She wants to ease his pain.

OK, I love this. Jack is being impatient and Sam is laying it out for him that this is not going to be quick. She stands up to him is a subtle but definite way, and he backs down. Of course, to assert that he’s still in charge (yeah, right) he reminds her not to turn anything on.

There is definitely a rift here. Daniel is dying and Jack wants nothing to do with the Kelownans. Sam understands the value of the naquadria and wants to make sure Daniel’s death means something. The tension is palpable.

The rift continues. Jack let Daniel go, had the chance to say goodbye and is now trying not to deal with it and just move on. Sam needs to talk about it. She needs Jack to be there for her, and he can’t. She is both hurt and frustrated, but maybe also just a bit understanding. She knows he does not deal well with loss.

OK, I know Sam is out of focus but this is a really significant look in my mind. Teal’c is telling Jack that they will need to accept Ba’al’s help for their plans to work. At the mention of his tormentor, Jack turns to Sam, and from across the room she senses his need and automatically turns toward him. The connection between them is deep and sustaining.

Jack tells Sam he’s going after Daniel. He knows she has a dangerous mission to get intel on the super soldiers. Sam knows they are going into danger without the other. It is something she realizes will be happening much more in the future. Their time in the field together is coming to an end, but they will always be ready to watch the other’s six.

The last time Sam saw Jack he was in stasis in Antarctica. She put in months of worry and effort, blackmailed her commanding officer, travelled to a distant galaxy, was nearly sucked into a black hole, and was taken and tortured by Fifth, all in an effort to get him back. Jack comes into Sam's lab and picks up one of her doohickeys and she instinctively reaches out but resists taking it away from him but she keeps a careful eye on it until he puts it down.

As to the record...I think we went just over 3,300 last year...so beating the record is certainly doable at this point.

Sam has been here before, in Lost City, when she came to talk to Jack before she lost him to the Ancient knowledge taking over his brain. Now it’s Sam’s impending death wedding that has brought her to Jack again. You can see the reservation in her eyes as she tries to find the words to let Jack know what she feels.
