Hammond's hyperspace window

I don't know if this would be science and what not, but I was wondering why

when the Hammond used hyperspace it was pure purple instead of the blue/green window from Atlantis and Sg-1.

that was one of the things that made me think "what the" in the the graphics dept. otherwise the graphics were awesome the Ha'taks looked looked nice as well as the Death Gliders. And the Destiny made me shivers.

All hyperspace windows were initially purple, the made them green in Atlantis to differentiate the shows, and since they re-use footage, it got into SG-1as well.

I personally far prefer the purple one.

Indeed. Purple= Milkyway, Green= Pegasus.

Hammond's hyperspace window is pinkish. That's weird.

For some reason the graphic guys didn't put enough blue into the coloring. This seems like a rather big mistake on their part.
Also when you post pictures please use spoiler boxes to keep the size small.

I think it's just another example of them making the show 'different'.

It just looks a bit brighter to me. However since it is obvious that all of the CG has been majorly improved, it could just be what a Milky-way hyperspace window looks like in "blockbuster" CG.

I think it was a more pinkish-purple.
