Orb: Those mushrooms! :P
Bullseye: Orb dropped another CD, this time on Copelandia. It was a style she calls ‘Classical.’ I thought that the CD was rather calm, but the villagers seemed to be riled up about something. I think they were on the mushrooms when they listened to it.
Orb: Exactly, it was just Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. I can only guess what they heard to get that agitated.

The Train Museum will essentially wrap up the visit to Hive 95. As of now, everyone is free to declare their intentions to visit longer or head home.
TW: Hope you guys enjoyed your stay at Hive 95.
Lucas: Yes, we enjoyed your company. Remember you are free to return to Hive 95 at any time.
TW: When you do return to Hive 95, you must transmit you H95_Guest code to access the Dartway. Any ship failing to transmit this code on approach is deemed hostile and it will be destroyed by automated defense systems.
Devon: Yes, do visit again. I will see to it that there are no more "accidents" during formal dinners.
Virgil: How was I supposed to know it would explode?
Devon: YOU kicked it.
Virgil: How was I supposed to turn off the fountain!?
Devon: Did you think to ask Gordon or Wraithguyver?
Virgil: Well, I thou- Wait. This is the ooc thread... We should argue somewhere else.

Thank you both! :D *hugs*
This is Vincent's new entry (I took the liberty to update it and the backup dacument myself :))
Vincent: (SGA Wraith who got away - Travellers)(Draco-Stellaris. Can be hugged at all times. For Borrowing for role playing and further Worshipping ask Draco-Stellaris. Can be Borrowed for minifcs without asking for permission.) Mar and Kenny found him stranded in a lone dart in the middle of empty space. He had been abandoned there by Larrin and was almost dead when Oma Desala appeared and helped him to ascend. He prefers to live the life of an ordinary Wraith though and enjoys physical sensations like eating and drinking human food. He usually tries to keep his ascension secret. He is very open-minded and keenly interested in everything to do with the new Wraith lifestyle and Tau'ri cultures. After his rescue by Mar and Kenny he had worked for Kenny's coffee empire for a while. He stays on Boris's hive nowadays and likes to go exploring on Copelandia.
I also added an entry for Oma Desala, in case someone doesn't know her:
Oma Desala: (SG-1 Female Ascended Being) She is known for occasionally helping all kinds of lower plane beings (among them Anubis, the Goa'uld) to ascend and she is famous for her mysterious quotes.

Crockett: She asked me that age old question - If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Erik: That's easy to answer and the Earth publication, Scientific American, explained it - Sound is vibration, transmitted to our senses through the mechanism of the ear, and recognized as sound only at our nerve centers. The falling of the tree or any other disturbance will produce vibration of the air. If there be no ears to hear, there will be no sound.
Archimedes: I think you've missed the point of the question, Erik. :p

Well, the dinner event at hive 95 has drawn to a close. I had fun with it, and i hope you all enjoyed it.
I will continue to post antics for Hive 95 in off-world. If anyone wants to plan another event, or wants to visit Hive 95 I'm open for openly interacting with hive 95. A few notes:
-Anyone can freely visit hive 95. H95-GUEST is the new general access code to access the Dartway. Any ship NOT transmitting this code on approach will be destroyed. Don't forget to transmit!
-If a special event is being planned or you want to hold a special event at Hive 95, let me know. If Hive 95 is hosting a special occasion, all hives and wraith will be informed. If you wish to hold a special event at Hive 95, please PM me with details and we will get your event under way.
-If you just want to visit to enjoy Hive-95's various amenities, like Zen (meditation forest and beach, massage suites). Wraithworld (amusement park), Zoo (will be consulting on this more, as this is under construction), Train Museum (you all were just there - but this has the model trains and railroad exhibits), Devearaux (Devon's 5-star dining buffet and restaurant), you are free to roleplay a visit to Hive 95. If you wish to interact with Hive 95 members, drop a line here in OOC or shoot me a PM just so I can make sure Wraith are where they need to be. Can't have a wraith in 4 spots at the same time... LoL. If a wraith is currently busy on something, we can adjust his or her involvement in your visit accordingly so that the particular wraith is available. not wanting to suspend reality too much here. :)
-When you visit hive 95, your H95-GUEST code will autopilot you to the the Guest Dartbay. This dartbay is located outside near Zen. Elevators will take you to Wraithworld, Devearaux, the train Museum, and the Zoo.
-The Commandership District is generally restricted, and free access to this area is very limited. Warriors guard the entrances to the Commandership disctrict. Escort or authorized access is the only safe way to enter the Commandership district. Any other method of entering is seen as a hostile act and appropriate action will be taken. Queen
Amadala's quarters and meeting rooms are in the center of the Commandership District.
-Devearaux is working to expand to 24-hour dining, but this service isn't available yet. Devearaux will close every night at 12 midnight and re-open at 6am.
-If you wish to stay at Hive 95 for an extended period of time, there are guest rooms. TW, Lucas or Queen Amadala can accommodate your request for staying at Hive 95. The private guest rooms are separate than the commerical rooms that will be offered by the hotel that is currently under construction with the Zoo construction project.

Tartan Terror
Vera Decides to do some historical re-enactment as trouble brew in the Scottish Wraith hill Fort
She had her own hut now. Partly because Sparkles had told her brother to stop mollycoddling her and mostly because her kleptomaniacal habits meant that there hadn’t been enough room anymore. Vera didn’t mind, though she would miss being able to go through her brother’s things when he wasn’t there just to annoy him. Sparkles had promised that she could still visit as often as she liked though. It was a mutual understanding that Solma was allowed to call Vera ‘Squeaker’ if she in turn was allowed to think of the fae worshipper as ‘Sparkles’. It made perfect sense in Vera’s head. She’d even been given a new book all about Solma’s homeland.
Vera had read the book cover to cover six times now and was now bored. Flicking the book open again at a random page, she stared at the pictures. It showed a lot of blue swirly humans with sticky-up hair fighting men in red dresses. In the middle was a blue swirly woman with equally swirly hair in a box with spiky wheels pulled by two horses. Vera sat back from the book, wondering what it would be like to ride around in a wheel-box.
Well, she had nothing better to do till lunchtime.
Jumping off her bed, book under her arm, Vera rooted through her pile of interesting things until she found the teleportation armband. With a bark of triumph, she thought about the Lab with its magic making-things machine and hit the button. As usual, it took at least three jumps before she appeared where she actually wanted to be. One inside, Vera began to work out the plan for her box-on-wheels. Since the matter converter couldn’t make it all in one go – it was far too big – she created it in sections and fitted it together. After that was done, she started on the accessories, spiky armour for her horses and the costume the wild haired swirly woman was wearing for herself, though she did customise the design slightly. Soon, Vera looked every bit the Celtic warrior queen, blue woad swirls covering her skin and in her hair where she had gotten a little too carried away. She piled the horse tack into the chariot and sat in it, once again hitting the teleportation band.
In the blink of an eye, Vera and her things materliased on the outskirts of the Scottish Wraith Hill Fort. Vera pricked her ears to the sounds of fighting coming from within, and not a good sort of fighting. She jumped off her chariot and looked around. Standing not too far off and hitched to a plough in the middle of the half ploughed field was a large silvery horse. It looked right at her. Vera smiled. Quickly, she dashed over and unhitched the silvery horse, dragging it over to her chariot where she dressed it in the horse armour she had made. It seemed to approve because it knelt down to let her put the helmet on. She was almost ready. There was just one thing missing.... ah! Leaning on the fence was a short sword, not like the huge two-handers’ that the Swirly Blue wraith usually had lying around. Now she was ready. Climbing aboard, she took hold of the reins in one hand, her new sword in the other.
The Kelpie didn’t need any verbal instructions; it charged forward into the Hill fort. All around there was fighting, and it was impossible to say who was winning because both sides seemed to be the same. But looking closer, Vera could see ones that wore the black wraith cloth than the normal tartan of the proper Scottish Wraith. Near the centre, she recognized Connolly snarling and slashing at his opponent, who dodged nimbly out of the way to return the attack. Suddenly there were shouts as she was spotted and Vera only just ducked down in time to avoid the arrows that were fired at her. The kelpie reared, almost toppling the chariot and charged forward, taking out anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its way, while more still had to jump to avoid the spinning spikes on the wheels of the chariot.
Suddenly, Vera felt a force grab onto her hair and she screamed in pain as she was dragged off the chariot. She dropped the sword as she fell, trying to curl up to avoid injury. The Kelpie, apparently unaware that its driver was missing, continued to attack anyone that got too close. Vera started to get up cautiously before someone grabbed her roughly by the neck and dragged her to her feet. She yowled ad tried to scratch her captor.
“Fine wee lassie ye have here,†chuckled her captor.
“Let her go Campbell!†growled Connolly menacingly. “Else ye’ll feel my blade through yer belly.â€
Campbell merely chuckled again and forced Vera up against him, using her as a human shield. Connolly’s sword didn’t waver from pointing at Campbell though.
“If ye dinne want any harm t’ come t’ the yong lass, Ah suggest ye back off,†Campbell hissed, his talons digging into her neck. Vera attempted to lash out, using het self defence she had been taught when she was little and from Torchwood. Campbell blocked her attempts with ease.
“Ah, ye’r a spirited one! Ye’ll make a fine Queen,†he crooned menacingly in her ear, just loud enough for Connolly to hear as well. The Scottish Chieftain growled and lunged to attack. A violent wind forced him back though and a pale skinned sith came to stand beside Campbell, its skin glowing with magic.
“Temper, temper,†tutted Campbell. “Ye dinne want t’ set a bad example noo in front of the bairn.†He moved his grip from holding Vera by her neck to around her waist. She snarled and tried to push him off but he just held her tighter.
Then she screamed. Not just verbally, but also telepathic cry that filled the minds of every wraith in the surrounding area. There was one difference however. When she had been separated on Earth, Vera had tuned into the telepathic network of another species hidden away. That meant that she had developed two different telepathic wavelengths, and the other, as Gowen had found out when he was trying to teach her to connect again to the wraith network, seriously hurt when she used it with another wraith. Now she was using that to scream through the minds of every wraith she could reach. Campbell gave a yell and dropped her as he tried to clamp his hands over his ears to block out the sound. Connolly too was on the ground; the scream didn’t differentiate between friend or foe. The sith next to Campbell suddenly panicked at the stricken state of its master and turned on Vera only to stop as she held a sword to its neck.
“Be gone,†snarled Vera. The sith, not taking its eyes off Vera leaned down and touched Campbell. In an instant they had vanished, along with all of Campbell’s followers when the sith had seen they had lost. Vera slumped onto the ground, hugging her knees. A little way off, she could see the kelpie munching on a fallen basket of apples, having freed itself from the reins to her now ruined chariot. Vera sniffled and hugged her knees tighter. A hand was placed on her shoulder and she sprang up as if electrocuted.
“Woah! Calm yerself lass, tis alright noo,†Connolly said raising his hands to show he meant no harm. Vera hugged him fiercely, now fully crying. Connolly patted her on the back. “Ye did weel lass. Tis okay, yer safe noo.â€
“They’ve aul gone, Connolly,†said a Scottish wraith warrior walking over. “Nae too much destroyed this time either.â€
“Aye, weel Ah think Campbell wasn’t expecting oor wee Boadicea here,†Connolly replied. “Make yerself useful, Taliesin, an’ gee the wee las back t’ her brother.â€
“Aye Connolly,†replied Taliesin. “Come on lass,†he said gently, “let’s gee ye home afore Connolly changes his mind an’ makes me help with the clean up.†Vera giggled and Connolly just rolled his eyes as he let Taliesin take Vera back down to the Pirate camp.

I've no wish to steal anyone's thunder and my deepest apologies if I have, but I felt you folks should know that I have today been "officially" diagnosed as having Fibromayalgia.
I have good days and bad days and, while occasionally debilitating, I'm assured it's not life threatening, although it will never go away.
I'm being referred to our local Pain Clinic, so I'm hopeful that eventually I'll learn to control the pain and perhaps get relief from the exhaustion.
I don't mind talking about it, so VM me if you have any questions or are just plain curious.
With this in mind, my posting may be sporradic when the pain gets really bad, so I ask for your patience.

Game guide contribution noted in Free Forums:
Wraithaya – (Draco-Stellaris) a fruit recently discovered on the island. Its juice is served at the tavern in the pirate camp. It tastes like a blend of apple, passion fruit, and melon. The dryads named it 'wraithaya' because of its overwhelming sweetness and tendency to make you euphoric if you drink too much of it.
Character guide and Google backup update completed for:
Taliesin: (Draygon's original character)(Draygon - for borrowing ask Draygon, can be hugged or worshipped at any time) One of the Scottish Wraith, currently Connolly's second in command but takes this duty very likely. One of the younger Scottish wraith, he is friendly and is skilled at telling and recounting stories and can even do it sober. Prone to sing ballads or any other type of song that takes his fancy when bored. Unlike Connolly and many of the others, Taliesin enjoys adventure so will venture beyond the Hill Fort and Tavern. Skilled in combat.

Did the wraith have names for oneanother, if so, why and how did they get all these human names?
KyshaMalini
October 25th, 2010, 04:53 AM
The wraith, if they had names, always refused to tell them to humans in the show, so the lantians named a few of them, eg. Todd and Steve. For others we use the back stage names, like Gordon and Darrell from the wraith discrimination video. We gave the rest of them human names, I think for the sake of clarity. :)

They never explained this on the show. Due to the Queen in 'The Hive' asking John of which queen he spoke after he lies and says he worships a different queen, I think at least the queens gave their worshippers names to call them.

The Wraith never revealed any of their names. There are many different non-cannon theories on Wraith names, ranging from names in Wraith language to names that can only transmitted telepathically by layers of different senses.
The Wraith never stated how they felt about human names, but Michael's queen seemed to scoff at the human name and uses it insultingly at him and Todd gives a pause before asking the SGA team if they suspect Michael as if he finds the Tau'ri name strange in concept or pronunciation (but seems to have no problem with John's name).
The Wraiths would answer humans only if they felt like it, regardless if nicknames were used.

Hi Orb... Updated character guides for SW:
Aurelian: (SGA Wraith – Outsiders, aka Aurel) (Starry Waters. No borrowing or worshipping permitted for anyone other than Todd’s Pet. Todd’s Pet has been granted permanent permission to worship or borrow him for role playing or fics.) Aurel was at first very quiet and intimidated by Starry Waters’ and Todd’s Pet’s well established and happy little band of wraith, but has since found his place and fits in very well. He has discovered an affinity with crystals and spends a lot of time with Starry Waters researching their properties and powers. Even though he’s quite a traditional wraith, he has a very gentle and thoughtful nature and is a calming influence on everyone in his group.
Eddie: (SGA Wraith – The Hive) (Starry Waters. Can be hugged at all times. For further worshipping ask Starry Waters. Todd's Pet has been granted permanent permission to worship or borrow him for role playing or fics.) Eddie lives with Starry Waters but visits other worshippers whenever needed. He adores women of any shape, size or age and his aim in life is to convince every woman in the universe that she’s outrageously sexy! Eddie loves playing naughty games and can just never get enough and has been nicknamed Mr Octopus-Hands by his favourite worshippers! He has developed a whole new meaning for “getting his five-a-dayâ€! Eddie adores Starry Waters and spends most of his time with her, though he has a soft spot for Todd's Pet. However, he’ll happily bounce off behind the plotted plants with any Worshipper who winks at him! He’ll get as sleazy with you as you want him to be, but will never force himself on any Worshipper who does not want his attentions.
Starry Waters: (Player game alter ego) (Starry Waters. For borrowing for mini fics ask Starry Waters.) She and Todd’s Pet are soul sisters and they share their wraith between them. Tall, slender and with long, white hair, Starry Waters is a deeply spiritual person, is as insightful and intelligent as Todd and shares a deeply intuitive connection with him. Starry Waters works on Earth as an English teacher (intelligence gathering for Todd!) and consequently spends a lot of time in her apartment there, where her wraith keep her company and bolster her spirits when she has a lot of grading to do. She has the ability to channel cosmic energy and can use this as an alternative means of feeding wraith. Todd installed a mini star gate in her apartment linked directly to TP’s Hive, so when not on Earth she lives on the COH/ TP’s Hive in her own suite of rooms.
Todd: (SGA Wraith - various episodes) (Starry Waters. No borrowing or worshipping permitted for anyone other than Todd's Pet. Todd's Pet has been granted permanent permission for borrowing and worshipping him and for role playing or fics.) Supreme Commander of his alliance of hives, of which the COH/TP’s Hive is the flagship. Self-assured, insightful, highly intelligent and every inch a Commander, Todd is not afraid to show his soft side and try new things. He has a very wry humour and it might come as a surprise to some that he has a wacky sense of fun! Todd enjoys the luxury of the COH – he works hard and plays hard too – though he would never actually admit it! Confident of Todd's Pet’s love, he understands her need for personal freedom but when she goes too far he sends her to the Naughty Corner! (This isn't a Game Location) They have a volatile relationship but having her own hive is maturing her and her relationship with Todd is deepening as a result. Todd has more in common with Starry Waters and they share a deep and profound spiritual connection. He finds her company relaxing but she’s also capable of bringing out Todd’s zany side! He therefore spends most of his time with Starry Waters, checking up on Todd’s Pet every now and then to keep her in line!

Also updated character guides for me:
Greg (SGA Wraith – The Defiant One) (Todd’s Pet. Can be hugged at all times. For further worshipping ask Todd’s Pet. Starry Waters has been granted permanent permission to worship or borrow him for role playing or fics.) Greg is an uncomplicated and very happy soul with the most gorgeous smile that cheers everyone up instantly. He used to be lonely and grubby and traveled constantly but he has since outgrown his wanderlust, settled down and found happiness with Todd’s Pet, whom he calls Tinkerbell after the fire-fly fairies he loved so much on the dessert planet. He retains a huge soft spot for both Ciannwn and Draco-Stellaris and likes to go visit them now and then for one of his favourite ginger-scented bubble baths.
Grouch: (Todd’s Pet’s original character) (Can be hugged at all times. Can be worshipped or borrowed for role playing and mini fics without permission.) One of two drones that Todd’s Pet practised her telepathic control on soon after she was given her own hive. They grouched and grumbled so much at the initial discomfort that the names stuck. They are now extremely loyal to Todd’s Pet and have taken it upon themselves to assume the role of her personal bodyguards. Grouch has a scar on his left arm that has never healed, making him distinguishable from Grumble.
Grumble: (Todd’s Pet’s original character) (Can be hugged at all times. Can be worshipped or borrowed for role playing and mini fics without permission.) One of two drones that Todd’s Pet practiced her telepathic control on soon after she was given her own hive. They grouched and grumbled so much at the initial discomfort that the names stuck. They are now extremely loyal to Todd’s Pet and have taken it upon themselves to assume the role of her personal bodyguards. Grumble is extremely affectionate and if hugged he will bear-hug back with great enthusiasm!
Sethiroph: (Todd's Pet's original character, aka Seth) (Todd's Pet. No borrowing or worshipping permitted for anyone other than Starry Waters. Starry Waters has permanent permission to worship him and borrow him for role playing or fics.) Seth is Commander of TP's Hive and is loyal to Todd and his Alliance. When Seth and TP first met they spontaneously linked telepathically and knew that they could trust each other. Young for a Commander but mature in outlook, his appearance is remarkably like Spike, with a Celtic knot style tattoo curled around his right eye. Seth is a traditional Wraith and, having accepted Todd’s Pet as his queen, he is very loyal to her. He is quiet and serious but highly intelligent and perceptive, trusts his own intuition and is a good judge of character. Todd’s Pet looks to him for guidance in all matters and trusts his advice completely.
Spike: (SGA Wraith - Vegas) (Todd’s Pet. For borrowing or worshipping ask Todd’s Pet. Fandom Addict has permanent permission to worship him and borrow him for role playing or fics.) Having been re-adopted by Todd’s Pet they are still getting to know each other, but Spike has become very close to Todd’s Pet’s other two wraith, Steve and Seth and the three have formed a close-knit trio. Spike is quiet and thoughtful and, having spent so long stranded on an AU Earth, he is prone to feeling lonely in a crowd. However, life on the COH/TP’s Hive is bringing him out of his shell. He is very astute and observant, has a wry sense of humour and a talent for seeing things in their true perspective. He is therefore able to help Todd’s Pet retain her balance. He no longer bothers with the human disguise, though he is still a very talented freerunner (parkour), which he taught Steve – they frequently go freerunning together on the holodeck.
Steve: (SGA Wraith - Suspicion/Poisoning The Well) (Todd's Pet. For borrowing or worshipping ask Todd’s Pet. Starry Waters and Addicted-to-Steve have been granted permanent permission for borrowing or worshipping him and for role playing or fics.) On the surface Steve is arrogant, vain, demanding and egotistical. He thinks his body is a temple and he can be a bit of a health nut, always nagging Todd's Pet that she drinks too much coffee and doesn’t do enough exercise! He occasionally gets jealous of Todd – especially when Todd pulls rank on him over Todd's Pet! However, there’s a lot more to Steve than first meets the eye, and he can be Todd’s Pet’s anchor when life gets stormy. He has become her mentor, teaching her patience, meditation and how to connect with her spiritual side. He used to be very possessive of Todd’s Pet but has since become much more certain of her love for him and is now happy and secure, though he remains very protective of her. Since Todd’s Pet’s developed FM he keeps her calm and healthy but reminds her that she’s only human and mustn’t overdo things. However he also understands that Todd’s Pet is stubborn and he is always there to help her pick up the pieces when she overdoes things anyway!
Todd's Pet: (Player game alter ego) (Todd's Pet. For borrowing for mini fics ask Todd's Pet.) She and Todd’s Pet are soul sisters and they share their Wraith between them. She is very tall with an athletic Amazonian build, green eyes and long, straight, deep auburn hair. She dresses in wraith military style and when informal leaves off the coat for her signature big cobweb-lace black shawl. Although human, she’s a natural empath and, since Todd gave her a hive of her own, Steve has helped her develop her latent telepathy to wraith levels so she can control her own drones. Todd’s Pet also pioneered the Tantric method of feeding Wraith! Prone to bouts of depression, she can be emotionally over-sensitive and will cling to Steve during low moods. During manic phases she becomes hyperactive, very flippant and a total Wraith slut – lock up your boys! Steve used to get annoyed when she got like this but now she has FM he is more patient and even molly-coddles her. She works on Earth as a magazine editor (intelligence gathering for Todd!) but since her son left home, she lives full-time on the COH/TP’s Hive in her own suite of rooms when not at work.

I updated the entry for Bullseye as well:
Bullseye: (SGA Wraith - First Contact/Lost Tribe) (orbofnight. Can be hugged at all times. No further Worshipping permitted. For Borrowing ask orbofnight.) Bullseye is a skilled Wraith tech engineer/technician and has excellent long-distance weaponry marksmanship, as his namesake implies. He dislikes bureaucracy, views the world with a logical rather than emotional mindset, takes his protective duties seriously, and often forgets various social conventions while in his own complicated, philosophical train of thought. He strongly values his Wraith heritage and technology, but is very loyal and enjoys the company of his fellow Wraith and their worshippers. He does not like solid food, although he does enjoy small amounts of maple syrup and fruit juice. Bullseye, Dave, Tubbs and Craig invented the board games Atlantis Cluedo and Wraith Monopoly. He is worshipped by Orb and lives on Boris’s hive, but spends plenty of time in the Chill-Out hive as well.

Just to let y’all know that my physiotherapist has pin-pointed my arm pain to a postural problem in my neck vertebrae. I’m getting a course of treatment involving traction (painful), acupuncture (tedious but effective) and massage (blissful).
He thinks that my FM means that I am prone to musculoskeletal problems centred in my spine – remember the†sciatica†I had last year? Unfortunately it means that, at least on weekdays after I’ve spent all day at work in front of a computer, I have to keep my computer time to a minimum.
This week off work has been well timed in that I can stay off the computer all day and give my neck/shoulder/arm a achance to settle down.
However, when I go back to work next week, I must leave my desk during lunch break and limit my computer time in the evenings.
But the good news is that, after the acupuncture I’m feeling a big improvement already – not just in reduced pain in my arm but also in my general, overall well-being. Because I seem to respond powerfully to acupuncture, my physio has recommended Tai Chi and Chi Ball exercises – basically anything that stimulates my Chi and gets it moving!
Steve, of course, is in his element, making sure I maintain correct posture ,do my exercises – and getting my Chi moving with lots of S&P!
I want to thank everyone for your support and good wishes, which really helped to get me through a very, very bad patch. Big hugs to everyone.

I hope so too. It's always easier when you know what the problem is - somehow you feel more in control, don;t you? At least I know if I keep mindful of my posture and work my Chi daily, I should at least be able to make sure my desk-bound computer-based job doesn't eat too much into my GW time :D

Advanced the developing plot in off-world regarding the mystery ship. This might be a fun plot line. ^.^
Some additional information on Hive 95:
You'll see a reference to Queen Amadala's Ordinance chamber. You may be thinking WTF?
Hive 95's queen has a series of large rooms in her section of the Commandership District. Some of the rooms are her personal quarters. Others are for private entertainment (though Queen Amadala peruses the hive outside the Commandership district in most of her free time). Queen Amadala has 3 meeting chambers, for dealing with varying degrees of hive business. The first is the Ante chamber. This is where most of the mundane hive business gets taken care of, from meeting with Commanders (like TW and Lucas) and/or meeting with regular wraith to discuss issues or resolve problems. This chamber is also where diplomatic summits are held. This chamber is located in the public access area of the commandership district. The second room is the Dignitary Chamber, a large meeting hall where Queen Amadala holds all diplomatic meetings with ambassadors or high-ranking visitors to Hive 95. This is a restricted access chamber, only accessible by escort. The final chamber is the Ordinance chamber. This room is basically a war-room where the highest level Commanders and dignitaries discuss extremely sensitive matters. It is a restricted level chamber that requires special clearance to enter. By default, all commanders Drayun level Commanders (essentially the highest level commanders in the hive. TW is Drayun level. Lucas is a Triagayun rank, three steps below Drayun, but he is allowed into the Ordinance chamber by virtue of being apprentice to TW.)
Essential Command structure for Hive 95 (from highest rank to lowest):
Queen -> Drayun Commander -> Barisayun Commander ->Callirisayun Commander -> Triagayun Commander -> Aparisiyun Commander (entry level Apprentice Commander).
Replacement of higher rank precedes down the chain, unless two or more links are broken. In the unlikely event that the chain of command propagates to the Aparisyun Commander, he or she serves as emergency Executive commander of the Hive. All lower ranks when assuming rank replacement for a higher rank assume ALL responsibilities AND privileges of the rank he or she is stepping into. In the event the Queen is to be replaced, Hive 95 allows a Vair-pardiem which allows for the induction of the Drayun Commander to assume the role of the Hive Matriarch or Patriarch. Vaie-pardiem requires special referendum majority vote by at least 50% of the voting body (in other words, a public election with a yes or no ballot is held) to determine whether the Drayun Commander should be placed as hive Matriarch or Patriarch. In the event that no agreement can be made, Appalicium Verandus is institued, in which hive 95 is dissolved and all inhabitants are emigrated to other hives or relocate to other sections of the galaxy for independent living or integration into another hive or society.

Because random technical information is so much fun:
Adjudication of Resolutions and Disputes, both Criminal and Civil
Hive 95 supports a judicial system for the resolution of criminal behavior as well as civil disputes. There are two courts of resolution: The Adjudication Tribunal and the Verandas Tribunal.
The Adjudication Tribunal is the main level court system. It supports a standard trial system, including a Tribunal Magistrate (the earth equivalent of a court Judge), Service Counsel for both parties (lawyers) and the Panel of Arbitors (a panel of judges) or the Panel of the Tribunal, often referred to as the Tribunal Panel (a panel of jurors, or the earth equivalent of a jury). It is the burden of the accuser to prove the accused. Tribunal Magistrate controls the entire proceeding, and has the power to declare Contempt or execute law. Service Counsel has the power to declare persons to Tribunal Exposition (stand witness or testify). Tribunal summons (subpeonas - for both material and/or persons to appear in Tribunal) are issued when necessary. The Panel of Arbitors is selected as a 3-5 wraith panel of Magistrates. any Magistrate involved in the case is not allowed on the panel. The Panel of Arbitors is independent from the court in which the Panel is requested. the presiding magistrate who's court the request originated from can be allowed to preside on the panel if the clients of both Service Counsel serving the case allow so. (If both the accused and the accuser both agree to allow the presiding magistrate to sit on the Panel of Arbitors, that magistrate can sit on the Panel. The Panel of Arbitors is designed to maintain tribunal integrity). The Tribunal Panel consisted of 7 or 11 wraith, as randomly selected. The selection process is double-blind random, and a pre-screening is executed to ensure all members of the Panel are not directly involved with anyone relating to the case (much like earth jury selection - if anyone knows the defendant or plaintiff they are not eligible to serve on that jury).
The Verandas Tribunal is the earth equivalent of the Supreme court. It serves as a final appeals tribunal or for when an exceptional case can't be handled by the Adjudication Tribunal. The system used for the Verandas Tribunal is the same as the Adjudication Tribunal, with one exception: Only a Panel of Arbitors is used. This panel contain 9 members. No Tribunal Panels are used, as public opinion may contaminate the Tribunal Panel.
There is no Tribunal Panel sequestering (jury sequestering). The Verandas Tribunal sets final judgement. There is no appeal. It is possible to have an independent review of the case if the outcome is unfavorable. Verandas Recompendium is executed for an independent review of the case by the Verandas Tribunal by a panel of 3 Magistrates. Verandas Recompendium will offer two options: 1. Send the case for re-trial if it finds technicalities or inconsistencies in the presentation of facts to the Tribunal or 2. Change the judgement of the Tribunal if it feels the presentation of facts can be interpreted against law and view new judgement according to law that is in effect at the time of Verandas Recompendium. If the original judgement of the Tribunal was changed, the Tribunal record is changed, and all appropriate actions reflected by such change are executed, including but not limited to release from incarceration, records expungement, re-integration into society or vice versa - integration into incarceration, etc.

Adjudication of Resolutions and Disputes, both Criminal and Civil
Hive 95 supports a judicial system for the resolution of criminal behavior as well as civil disputes. There are two courts of resolution: The Adjudication Tribunal and the Verandas Tribunal.
I am curious about Hive 95's view of high-ranking titles: are the Queen and Commander also subject to this judicial system, or are they 'above' it?

All wraith are subject to the judicial system. A queen can be summoned to a Tribunal if charges are brought her, as also Commanders. The rankings for the commanders are designed to instill higher and higher levels of experience within their position. But all wraith within the hive are subject to the judicial system. High-ranking Wraith are not exempt.

Some of the games guides for locations like Boris's hive and the COH still mention cocooned storage decks, even though other alternative feeding methods are in use now.
Should I make a note in the freeforums under 'game guide contributions' of this change?

Gabriel's take away still has cocoon storages for the Harkness clones, and in case someone wants to have a Ronon snack. I'm not sure about the CO hive though.
EDIT: Now that I think of it, does a clone facility even need cocoon storage areas?

Good question. Are they more or less created as brain dead? If so, they are not going anywhere. :P They might still need to be cocooned or put in stasis to keep them 'fresh.'
Draco-Stellaris
November 4th, 2010, 04:20 AM
I suppose Gabriel always has an emergency stock of clones he keeps in stasis, so he could have a small amount of cocoons. But we certainly don't need whole rooms of cocoon storages. Maybe we can say they have been refurbished to be store rooms for various items like human food or archaeology equipment.

There's always a few clones in storage for emergencies. Any other human storage areas on Boris's hive can be converted as and when the space is needed for something. They've got so many empty decks to use there's no hurry for the conversions.

Hive-95 Feeding Suite
Devon developed this device for Devearaux. In light of preserving the outstanding dining experience Devon was aiming to maintain when he designed and built Devearaux, he needed to come up with a method for Wraith to eat traditional cuisine. Virgil, his second in command at Devearaux, suggested creating a private feeding area. Devon had considered making a separate section of the dining area for consumption of traditional cuisine. However, after considering how Wraith eat, the decision was made to make self-contained private areas. After conferring with Gordon and Wraithguyver, and some development, Devon had a feeding suite.
The Feeding Suite is an enclosed room the size of about 2 telephone booths, or about 4x3 meters in area and about 3.5 meters tall. It features sound proof walls, and adjustable ambient lighting. The feeding suite also supports music and video to enhance the eating experience. A padded bench is provided in case a wraith wants to sit. The door can be locked to ensure privacy. On the outside, a small LCD display indicated the feeding suite is in use.
The menu of items includes both traditional wraith cuisine (humanform species and compatible clones) and new non-traditional cuisine as offered from the Grand Buffet at Devearux. In the end, a wraith can choose anything that is available. The feeding suite contain matter-replicator technology to create what is ordered. A touch screen in the feeding suite displays all the food items available. Replication takes 1 minute. Wraith who wish to consume Runners must go to the Retention Deck to select their meal. Runners are generally not eaten, but on rare occasion, a Runner is selected for a special meal. After each replication, the unit can replicate a new food item within 5 minutes. Most wraith who use the Feeding Suite tend to queue up more than one food item. After their first selection replicates, they feed while the unit resets. By the time they are ready to eat again, the unit is ready to replicate the next item. Upon exiting the Feeding Suite, the unit will take 5 minutes to reset. A wraith can enter and select their meal items before the unit is ready, but it won't replicate new items until the reset is complete.
The Feeding Suites have become wildly popular on Hive 95. Queen Amadala instituted communal feeding areas, each containing a dozen Feeding Suites. Others are spread throughout the Hive in various areas. Devearaux contains 24 Feeding Suites. 12 are on the general first floor dining room, 3 in Queen Amadala's private dining area. 6 in the 4th Floor Atrium Dining area, and 3 are located on the 2nd floor Ballroom Dining areaa.

Employees are just regular wraith workers. Much like you have "mcdonald's employees. Hive 95 is comprised entirely of wraith. As of yet, no one on Hive 95 has a worshipper. Humans are welcome to visit though, as already made evident. In general, Wraith on Hive 95 have the Feeding Suites so eating visitors is never a problem. We catch humanform prisoners to integrate their DNA into the Feeding Suite database. We often don't keep prisoners, but release them in habitable areas sprinkled throughout the Pegasus Galaxy.

I imagine Hive95 doesn't get too many human visitors and word of their presence on the ship would make its way to Zidane. :P :)
Oh, and I am also guessing that parts of Devearaux are being renovated and closed for business due to the exploding fountain. :P

The original stock of humans in the COH cargo hold in the lower deck has long since been used up, but Commander Seth has not felt the need to replenish stocks with a cull now that there are many more worshippers to go around.
There's no need for clones in the COH since the Tantric feeding method is widely embraced, so to speak ;) :D
For those rare times when this method is not appropriate or desireable S&P is a favourite activity shared by COH residents as a snack to tide them over until they can obtain a proper meal :P
Those as yet un-named and/or unadopted wraith on the COH have agreed to make use of the technological feeding method until they find a human willing to nurture them in the long term :)

The exploding fountain is part of the reason, but not the whole reason. The 4th floor atrium is getting new wall paneling. The maintenance shaft covers are getting replaced along with the renovation. This is to prevent another re-run of Kit's adventure.

Hi everyone,
Long time no see.
Once again I apologise for my lack of activity. I have just been visiting my bro in Canberra the last five days . I hope to write minifics/fanfics/paint etc before too long, but I just got a summer job at Port Arthur Historic Site (Tour guiding and ghost tour guiding) and it's going to be intense [not to mention extremely fun!]! It's 1.5 hours drive from home, so I'll be staying in a hostel with no internet (theoretically). On the plus side, this means I can spend my free time writing fanfic without the lure of the internet, on the negative side I will not be able to be on GW as much as I would like. I intend to get an Amazon Kindle before too long, which means free 3G net access wherever I go, so that might mean some stealth hostel GWing, lol.
