Miller talks 'Sin City', '300' sequels
Frank Miller has penned the follow-ups to hit comic book adaptations 300 and Sin City.
The writer, whose new film The Spirit is in cinemas, revealed that the sequel to 300 is being "polished", while work on Sin City 2 is to begin before the second half of 2009.
He said: "The word I have heard is that we are going to get into production in April and I can't wait."
However, Miller was quick to dismiss reports linking Johnny Depp and Rose McGowan with the film, saying: "We haven't started casting."

Sin City 2 script finally complete
Original Sin City star Jaime King has confirmed that Frank Miller has finished his script for the movie’s sequel.
While promoting her new movie My Bloody Valentine 3D, King noted that the movie will consist of adaptations of existing Sin City stories alongside new material created for the film.
The first film appeared in 2005, and King ascribed the delay in part to studio requests for the sequel. Original co-director Robert Rodriguez will be back, but wasn't willing to compromise the unique vision of Miller's hard-boiled universe.
"None of the filmmakers or the actors were willing to sacrifice doing it any other way other than [how] we wanted to do it," King said, adding, "I’m hoping we’ll do it sometime this year. But you know how movies are."

Weinstein Loses Rights To Sin City 2
In the last few years we have only heard rumors relating to a Sin City 2 script that is being written, well one may very well exist but it will NOT be produced by The Weinstein Company.
Troublemaker Studios, Robert Rodriguez's production house will still produce the film.
No official statement on what studio will distribute the film but Universal Studios has been tossed around as a number 1 contender.
The original Sin City was a box office smash raking in over $158 million world wide in box office receipts. The movie was made for under 40 million, combining these two elements creates success.
