heres my three: sg-1 and diagnosis murder
sg-1 and doctor who
sg-1 and red dwarf

i could see the red dwarf one working:
o'niell: whats in the tubes
lister: viruses
Kryten: to be accurate sir positive viruses
Carter: wow! such as
Kryten: Luck, carisma, sexual magnatsm
Danial: What!
Lister: oh yes and it works
O'niell: guess that would effectivelly render siler's wrenche obsolete

wot about you folks, what crossovers would you like

If Alias hadn't turned into utter compost this season, I wouldn't mind seeing a crossover with it. Then again, it could be a Battle of the Bloody Stupid Ship. I can see it now: Syd vs. Sam in a cry-off contest, Vaughn vs. Jack in the strong-but-conflicted partner contest (Vaughn would win angst, Jack would win strong), Weiss vs. Daniel as the supportive-but-cautionary best friend...

It's happened already. Friends has finished, so six poor jobless actors jumped at the chance to be in a Stargate / Friends crossover:

Joey asks Sam, "hey, how' YOU doin'?" He dies in the last act.

Ross is deeply affronted that no one had told him about the palaentological implications of the ancients' human characteristics, and harbours an extreme grudge against Dr Jackson, not helped by the fact that Rachel has arranged a date with Daniel. Ross turns out to have been at the infamous emptying-hall lecture, and much hillarity ensues as he tries to persuade Rachel not to date such a loser. "Ross, how many people would attend *your* lectures if you didn't have the power to flunk them?" she says whilst humourously attempting to extricate herself from a hair/babyfood situation.

Phoebe moves to the planet of the Nox and loves it. The Nox move to a different planet in the middle of the night.

Monica is soooooo jealous of Jonas' metabolism. She adores him and cooks him every dish she knows. Feeling threatened, Chandler feels the need to prove his manliness by joining SG-14. He gets bitten by a strange bug on his first mission and needs to be stretchered home. On the debrief he accidentally spills a latte over Sam.

Teal'c enjoys New York. He gets kitted out in Ralph Lauren and offered a modelling contract. Joey and Rachel give 'helpful' advice.

Thor appears. "Gee, ugly naked guy looks ILL" says Phoebe.

The Tokra recruit Monica for a special SG mission to infiltrate Yu's palace in the guise of a hot chick, and steal somethingorother of vital importance yadda yadda. Jack overhears her talking to Chandler and misunderstands what she's saying; he gets the idea that Ross is a goa'uld. Cue fun and japes as Hammond interrogates a
clueless Ross.

(It's a pity the short scene between Hammond, Gunther and Chevron Guy got cut from the final edit. That was a good prank they played on Hammond - making him think another quantum mirror had been discovered. Gunther pretending to be Lieutenant General Davis was a scream. Never mind, it might be on the bloopers reel one day along with Phoebe's songs 'I went in a Teltak and was sick on my shoes' and 'Ode to a MALP' )

It's called The One With The Stargate. Boring title, sorry.

Or Ground Force.

Ba'al's attack on Earth has messed up someone's garden in Pennsylvania and SG-1 go undercover to replace the damaged plants and make some decking. Tommy and Jack argue over whether the fence should be painted blue or not, and Teal'c discovers that a nice water-feature beats candles when it comes to Kelnoreeming.

Another highlight from the Ground Force crossover is when they discover that Linda Barker is indeed a Go'auld, and after successfully defeating her, Charlie Dimmock explains the physics behind said water feature and Daniel Alan's advice on what plants would grow well in a small, dimly-lit workroom on the twenty-something floor of a secret government base.

A cross over with Buffy would be funny....

How about Stargate and Yu-gi-oh! They both run on the same Egyptology theme.....think what fun each Duel game would be....then someone getting stuck in the Shadow Realm!

In an uncharted region of the universe, SG-1 stumble across five robot lions. Together they form Voltron: Defender of the Universe! Jack takes command of Black Lion, Sam is in Red, Teal'c is in Yellow, Daniel in Blue and Jonas is brought back to take control of Green Lion. Technically, Sam should probably be in Blue to match with the Princess, but I always detested that move and Sam's a better 2IC than Allura could ever be. ;)

They hie off to battle against the evil goa'uld Zarkon and his conveniently named son/slave Lotor. :D

WHAT? SG-1 crossover with a show already in the same universe as itself? what an idea.

nugglebugget
May 12th, 2004, 12:03 PM
or both *cringes*

Jack has a dream that he's on the "Simpsons".SG-1 is investigating his crazy insistence that Burn's is a Goa'uld. In the meantime "Patty"&"Selma" spot this guy that could be "MacGyver"[only older]& they start stalking him.The team realize "Jack" is being followed by thewomen, but think they're Burn's henchwomen.
Much silliness ensues, complete with Bart's crank calls. It ends with Jack writing "Burns is not a Goa'uld" on the black board & waking up in a cold sweat.
Oh yeah Daniel, Teal'c & Sam go in undercover at the school as substitute teachers{history, gym& science respectivly}.Mrs.Crabapple makes a play for the men while anytime a guy so much as says hello to Sam,they die a sudden & bizzare death.

Friends crossover was great! Very funny.

But how about.....

SG-1/Trading Spaces crossover.

Frank & SG-1 take over Anubis' mothership and Anubis and Christi take over the SGC. They have two days and $1000 to spend. Can they pull off a design that will make both sides happy and maybe put an end this war??? Tune in next week....

Madeleine

Okay, here's one that won't mean much to anyone till the UKers wake up, but it just *has* to be done...

Stargate meets Balamory: Archie makes a Teltak out of seven paper plates and some red wool. He and Teal'c take it to the nursery where the children decorate it with hand-prints. Sam and Daniel solve the pressing mystery of PC Plum's lost cycle-clips. And Jack discovers that Miss Hoolie is an undercover Asgard.

i would like to see a SG-1/Wormhole Xteme crossover. have the characters from WX use the dimension mirror to cross into the SG-1 universe

SG-1 and Futurama. have the Prometheus run into the Aliens from Omicrom Persei 8 or the Planet Express Starship

SG-1 and Star Trek or even Star Wars. X-302 vs X-Wing would be an interesting fight

Bringing this to the fore again since crossovers are being discussed.

I still think it'd be nifty to see SG-1 go up against Cthulhu. ;)

For a while now I've been toying with the notion of a Stargate SG-1/G.I. Joe crossover.

Hammond served with Hawk in Vietnam.
Cobra Commander is really a Goa'uld.
Teal'c finally meets someone who's as tall as he is, Roadblock.
Sam Carter, Lady Jaye and Scarlett all have a "Who's got the biggest combat related scar" competition.

Or even an SG-1/Dr. Who crossover?
UNIT take over the SGC.
I have this image in my head of Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart ordering - "Sar'nt Benton? Chap with glowing eyes, five rounds rapid."

I think a SG1 / JAG crossover could work, as the SGC has Marine units...DJE and MS on the screen at once, talk about thunk...

Also SG1/NCIS - could work for the same reasons, the Marines...(Can you tell I like DB shows)

SG1/ West Wing - for obvious reasons that one could work...I can just imagin the conversation between O'Neill and Barlett, and the reactions Toby and Josh would have to Teal'c, then there would be Donna's reacton to Daniel...and of course everone's reaction to Carter....

What is 'Dr. Who'?

Matt G
November 20th, 2004, 08:22 AM
(this is on the assumption that DFA's question is serious)

Dr Who = BIG TIME UK scifi show, lasted from the early 60s to the late 80s and is scheduled to make a comeback in '05! Central character was a guy who was a 'Time Lord' from a planet called Gallifrey, went around in a space ship/time machine called a TARDIS which looked like a 'Police Box'(I'm too young to fully get that reference but we're basically talking about a dark blue phone booth on the outside and a megalarge craft on the inside). The Doctor had various allies, various enemies and if you Google 'Dr Who' you'll find a ton more info!

Madeleine
November 20th, 2004, 10:15 AM
A Police Box was just a large 'phone booth for Police use only. The walkie talkie was the death of them.

How about SG1 - Monty Python: but wait, has it been done already?! There was definately a bit of the dead parrot sketch in "Into the Fire" :D
P.S. They should put Jack in white more often, Mmmmm...& now for something completely different...

Stargate SG-1/ Roughnecks Starship Troopers Chronicles.

It'd be a bit weird, cos David De Luise voiced Sgt. Brutto in Roughnecks.
