How to transport thing that won't fit through gate?

A typical Stargate measures 6.7 m (22 ft) in diameter, It is pretty big .
But what about things that won't fit through the gate.

Like moving furnture, when the the sofa is too big to fit into the elevator .


If we can break it apart ,we make it so for easy gate transport.But if can't break it apart , Like a large one piece metal sheet for repairing Daedulas class ship, over 22ft long and wide. it needed to be one piece without cuting it apart ,because the ship require maximium hall integity, one piece straight from the earth factory.

Or a priceless ancient statute that is too valuable to be breaking into parts.

We can transport it using ships, but what if it is an emergencies ,like when an alien world is underattack.We need to send a large hyperdrive or F-302 to another planet.We don't have time to re assemble it.


I think we should use Wraith beaming tech, we saw human world in pegasus reverse engineer the Wraith beaming tech to store the human population for centuries using non-organic tech.So we don't need to waste time on reversing organic part.

Just because we use Stargates doesn't mean we could build them, especially not a supergate which we have only seen once. How about a super iris to go with it?

We hae seen them in a ton of episodes. Im not saying build one im saying take one or 2 from the Ori. Put one here, and one in Pagases so ships can be there in a mater of nano seconds, not weeks. And actully a shield system like the one ued in atlantis would work as a protection from out side agrresers who might use the gate.The shield would be powered by the gate its self and can be turned off via a control station near the gate.

it took the people of the ori a LOT of hard work to build the ships so building the componets of the supergate would have been a lot of work to, so why in the world would they want to do all of that work just to give us 2? not to mention that it takes a black hole to power one so your limited to where you can put one.



if we need to transport lagre objects, all we have to do is use asgard beaming technology because its been shown that a matter stream can be sent through the gate, but you just need an object on the other end to reassemble the matter stream and you can pretty much beam whatever you want.

i mean you should actually be able to beam an entire sky scraper trough the gate if you wanted. no puny wraith culling beam can do that.

well, i would not only install a shield but:

Either arm the gate itself (beam weapons and such) or position 4 stations or so near it as guard (i guess the wraith would not like us having this sort of access to their galaxy))

Another way would be Ancient Obelisks. We saw a bunch of them in season 10 where they were being used to transport Merlin's chamber between planets (there are also two on the Sodan world which they aren't going to be needing anymore what with them being killed off and all). Unless there's a large component to the devices that are hidden underground, they can fit through a Stargate so if they harvest a few, they can set one up in the SGC and one up on their target world and then transport away.
